Not to mention playing Texas OOC.
Not disputing the fact that Ole Miss has the toughest schedule, but this doesn't mean what it used to.

The real question is "who has the 2nd toughest schedule?" ole miss' is the toughest by a landslide.

UF, auburn and bama are the only schools with a legit OOC matchup. UF plays every tough conference matchup at home. auburn has to play UGA and @Vandy as opposed to @Mizzou and @UT. Bama has all of their tough games away, while auburn gets to play its toughest games at home. I'll say auburn just because Bama doesn't have to play themselves.

Easily Auburn. I made a thread about this about 3 weeks ago and AU plays the toughest schedule followed by OM.

I have to disagree Ole Miss is harder but slightly if you look at the schedules they play all the same teams in conference, clemson and texas are a wash as tough non conference games but one major difference is the schedule set up. Ole Miss plays 8 straight SEC games (stupid scheduling) while AU puts weak non cons before both UGA and UA. Also the biggest factor Ole Miss can't play themselves so Auburn's schedule is easier.

Also did anyone notice if Ole Miss were to be upset by Tulane ala Jacksonville State they potentially can go on a 10 game losing streak to end the season and a 22 game SEC losing streak that would have to be an SEC losing streak record.

It doesn't, but it's still a game I wouldn't favor them in.

To me the fork in our season is week 6 when we play a&m.

We should be 3-2 and they will have had a tough stretch to that point. They play UF & Arky at home early and they also have tough road games vs underdogs La Tech and SMU. Who knows how things will be going by week 6 in College Station?

If we are 3-2 going into that game, and we should be, it will be a great atmosphere for a&m's first SEC road game.

You will be... and it will be, IMO. We're @ UK, so I will be in Oxford for that one.

Georgia's schedule is by far the hardest in conference.

Anyone disagree?

Hardest Schedule- Who has it this season?

Towson. With their talent level they are basically playing 22 games in one night.

Yeah, I don't honestly see how anyone can argue that Ole Miss doesn't have the hardest schedule in the SEC, and quite possibly the nation. They will be the '09 MSU team that had the #1 SOS in the nation

Who has the tougher schedule? Ole Miss or Notre Dame?

Ole Miss:

Central Arkansas
UTEP
Texas
@ Tulane
@ Alabama
Texas A&M
Auburn
@ Arkansas
@ Georgia
Vanderbilt
@ LSU
Mississippi State

Notre Dame:

Navy (Dublin, Ireland)
Purdue
@ Michigan State
Michigan
Miami (Chicago, Illinois)
Stanford
BYU
@ Oklahoma
Pittsburgh
@ Boston College
Wake Forest
@ Southern Cal

Think I am going with Notre Dame on this one.

Which SEC team has the hardest schedule this year?

Bama - Michigan is the top OOC game that I am aware of this year.

This is our year off... So we better not F it up!

I think Fla and Auburn are the wild cards to everybody's schedule. I think they will be improved but I do not know how much.
