I still have nightmares of the scores he ran up on Dinardo when I was in school; however, we will always have 1997.

Spurrier is an all-time icon.
Combined revolutionary coaching with grade-A smack talk.
Everything he said about us (and everyone else) was 100% true.

I respected that he didn't care that nearly every other fanbase hated him during his coaching days at Florida.

I've always said, the SEC is more enjoyable with Steve Spurrier in it.
