I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music but that was painful. I asked my teen if he liked Lamar, he just said he was "Ok".

The fill ins when he paused are placed there so that he can catch his breath. They're pre-recorded, but they sounded nothing like when he was actually rapping. If you couldn't hear the difference then I can't help you.

Nobody will criticize Zac Browns terrible rendention of the anthem but will criticize Kendrick.

I was disappointed by his lack of showmanship. He just sort of paced around on stage a little bit.

I understand listening to Kendrick Lamar at halftime, if one likes his music. But halftime shows are horrible for listening to the performer.

I had heard the name Kendrick Lamar but hadn't heard his music so l listened for a few minutes. I see no talent whatsoever in this guy and was embarrassed by him grabbing his pecker every 30 seconds. Wow...and this guy is considered a great "artist". It's SAD!

Not a fan, either. I could never get what people liked about them. They seem rather generic and pedestrian, to me.
I hope the poster sees this that wanted us to criticize Zac brown but not the rapper.

While I agree, Michael jackson used to do this a lot.
I asked a black guy I used to work with why black people do that. he said, "Because the white man has taken everything else from us, we have to check to make sure we still have that."

It was pretty predictable when it was announced. I've seen a handful of threads on in across a few different boards here.
