I believe Kiffin could see the Bama/DeBoer downfall coming. If he wanted that job he would have simply stayed at Ole Miss another year

Yeah he's the same exact coach skill wise that he was 15 years ago.
I'm not naive enough to think this is a really long term marriage between Kiffin and LSU based on history, but this is his best opportunity so far and he's being given everything he's asked for so far so we'll see how it plays out. He's off to a great start. LSU fan base and administration is super energized right now. Way different feeling than when BK was hired

And Freeman has only been a head coach once and already took his team to a National Championship game.....Kiffin, a 5 time head coach hasnt even won a conference championship muchless a National Title game....unless you count his C-USA division titles.....

Exactly what does ‘Bama offer going forward that LSU doesn’t?
LK has already taken enough reputational damage for leaving OM…he’s not going to do it again so soon by leaving LSU.
And there just isn’t enough that Bama offers over LSU to justify that.
