Nobody has Tua"s arm talent!
True, Burrow is a solid, tough qb.
But, equal? Nah!
Yet he's constantly compared to Drew Brees who doesnt have a ton of arm talent

No one is taking a 6’ QB over a 6’4 QB with equal talent.
Joe was so much better than Tua. Not close.

Huntsville, Al
I thought Huntsville had a lot of smart people around there.
But I guess they do occasionally go to McDonalds, need ditches dug, or need road kill off their highways.
Imma swing by your drive thru next time I'm over that way.

Unlike most people in this thread, I thought your OP was a reasonable question. Then I got to this part of the thread and realized that I was giving you way too much credit.

This smells like an insecure Alabama thread

Tua is a short, fragile, QB who couldn’t handle quality opponents, so no. Guaranteed bust in the NFL.
He was injury prone no doubt. But, he led his team to many victories against quality opponents. Just go back and check his record. Only injuries kept him from being the most feared qb in major college fb! The pros know! Why do you think they took a chance on the oft injury prone qb? Because he's a generational talent when he is healthy.
Can u dig it?
I knew that u could!

That's rich coming from the fanbase that idolizes a little prick.

He’s a legend, the greatest college football coach in history and owned LSU for 8 years and will again, but I don’t talk about his DICK. But you idiots are obsessed with what a studly DICK Joe Burrow supposedly has. Listen to yourselves.

Tua peaked two years ago. I felt bad for him after his serious injury. I'm glad he at least got paid NFL money, but I'm not a Dolphins fan, so the significant risk of his being a bust doesn't concern me.

No. Cincinnati was taking Joe no matter what.
But the bigger question is would Tua stayed in college another year if he wasn't hurt?

Doubtful, IMO.
2021 QB class is going to be pretty deep.
Tua was the #2 QB taken which isn't bad considering his injury history, durability concerns, Wonderlic score, and his comprehension of pro-style offense vs. RPO.

Instead he plays wide receiver and get drafted in the second round instead of where he is projected (4th) Bowden sacrificed his draft stock for his team. I would think the NFL guys would take that into account.
