What in this thread would cause me to be mad? A school I hate possibly getting in trouble? Yeah, I'm fricking livid about that.

I'm going to "loan" a few recruits a couple thousand dollars and as long as they pay me back before the season starts then it's OK, right?

Most Alabama fans would be having a field day with this if it was Auburn or Tennessee.

Yep. And then Cam Newton happened. I will never make a big deal out of one of these little incidents again. The NCAA is too afraid to bring the hammer down on one of the big players due to the vast amount of money that is invested in this sport now.

They won't forfeit our games. There's too much money at stake. Alabama is the SEC's only (legitimate) undefeated team at the moment.

It would put A&M right back in the hunt.

I'm getting good news about more personal things, so we could vacate all 15 titles in an hour and it wouldn't bring me down today.

Now tomorrow might be different.

Has anyone actually read the article? It was less than $500. Is that not less than what others have received, repaid, and gotten 2 or so games suspension for?

As hard as it is for me to admit this, Stewart Mandel is looking at this the same way I am, saying the amount is not the issue, having a runner on staff is.
That's why I said that the S&C coach will be fired...

I wonder how different your reaction might be if this were Trooper Taylor loaning money to Cam Newton and getting repaid based on Cam's word that that is what he did with his cash withdrawal.

That would be epic.

Yeah we admitted this happened. The two aren't really comparable NCAA-wise, even if you think the NCAA found proof in the Cam Newton thing and for some reason decided to sweep it under the rug.
