Why would LSU fire O to hire a guy that O owned?

Because he doesn't have to face Orgeron but he does have to face Saban?

Haven't you mf'ers learned pretty much Auburn could hire a blow up doll and it would have success against Saban.

Yet LSU can't seem to find any coach that can beat Saban. Well, more than once in 11 years or so.

Why not?
Serious question. He’s the ONLY mf to consistently beat saban.
Why not? If I was LSU I would hire gus

Gus is a good Saturday coach, if you keep him away from the program Sunday-Friday. That was his issue at Auburn.

Not consistent

Gus consistently got schooled by Kirby.

Other than regular season 2017, Gus average maybe 7 points per game against Georgia.
He also was stubborn.
The loss to LSU in 2017 was because of stubbornness.

Gus could not win on the road against the top teams in the league.
He lost to Bama, LSU, and Georgia on the road every time.

He was fired for a good reason. He could not build a consistent program.

If LSU hires him, I would be thrilled.

He would take that program to mediocrity they haven’t seen since Nick Saban arrived at LSU.

Did you forget about 2013? And 2010? Don’t ignore that Gus got Auburn to its highest highs in the last decade?

I think he outlived his usefulness but Auburn fans act like we were perennial champions before 2010.

The downside to making your entire season about beating Nick Saban and making that your super bowl is the fact you’ll go 7-5 in the rest of the games, plus lose to Saban more times than you win.

I've heard there is already a memorandum of understanding in place. Done deal.

Mel Tucker is the best candidate I’ve seen realistically talked about by LSU and honestly I think he’d be a fantastic hire.

Did you forget 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 championship game, 2018, 2019?

All of those games were below 20 points for the offensive genius.
