yeah no doubt. I was just reading up on the College site. One of their super-regionals is at the end of March.. Sponsors are putting up $11 Grand in Cash and Prizes for that one and another in April. This is another reason it is greater than the other 2 sports. ESPN will be televising also.
Under Armour College Bass announced today that it will be expanding its 2009 season with the addition of two Super Regional events to compliment its annual national championship. Each Super Regional will offer more than $11,000 in cash and prizes.
The East Super Regional event will be held at Clarks Hill Lake in Evans, Ga. with the morning launch at Wildwood Park and the daily weigh-in at Academy Sports + Outdoors March 7-8. The West Super Regional event will be held at Lake Palestine in Tyler, Texas with the morning launch at The Villages Marina and the daily weigh-in at Academy Sports + Outdoors April 18-19.
Going into its fifth year, the Under Armour College Bass National Championship is the calendar’s premier collegiate fishing event. More than 150 schools currently participate in more than 300 Under Armour College Bass sanctioned events each season. Anglers do not have to compete in the Super Regional events to qualify for the National Championship. The location of the National Championship will be announced after the West Super Regional.
The 2009 tour will be televised on ESPN2 and ESPNU this summer.

Just because ESPN doesn't cover it makes it irrelevant? ESPN is irrelevant, with the exception of actually televising GAMES! So that makes ESPN's lack of covering college baseball irrelevant.....which makes it relevant in my book.
Now, if Bama had some kind of relevant baseball or basketball programs, there would be Gumps all over the place waiting to hang some kind of bogus banners....but they aren't, so they are irrelevant!
Understand, Gumps?

Exactly. Alabama is the ultimate one trick pony Athletic Department.

I enjoy baseball. I was really good at actually playing the game. I love MLB. Cubs fan forever. I would be more into college baseball if they had more games on TV.

Not necessarily. I don't much care about softball and we're number one in that. No biggie.

I agree. I'm not crazy about college baseball or basketball. I will watch them every once in a while, but honestly don't care. I'm happy when my teams win, but not heartbroken when we lose.

Seeing you've been 1) falling for the last two decades, and most probably 2) will fall to three consecutive losses come Labor Day, ending up with 3)a probable middle of the pack finish this year in the SEC West, you should be celebrating "falls" quite a bit.

I have plenty to celebrate. I just tore my ACL and MCL last week, and life is just great.

How many titles did bama win in the 90s? What 2 decades are you talking about? Did bama win a SEC championship in 99? You're stewpid. Also, chill out with the bold letters. There's not a single word that you typed that needed to be highlighted.

How many titles did bama win in the 90s?
The same or Less than LSU did in the 1980s.
What 2 decades are you talking about?
I was referring to 5 decades.
Did bama win a SEC championship in 99?
Yes they did.
You're stewpid.
No, I stated facts.
Also, chill out with the bold letters. There's not a single word that you typed that needed to be highlighted.
Chill? Hilarious.
MEMEAUX: Perhaps you should stop judging people, or say things as "stewpid" as you expected to beat LSU every year....which simply, will never happen again, no matter how much you copy of facilites, enlarge your stadium, or hire our old coaches.
