re: In case LSU forgot Alabama is 22-5-1 in Baton Rouge since 1965

No one cares about what happened 54 years ago.
Or are you really that old?
Welcome to the new millennium, nearly 20 full years in, 1/5 of a century. Lets see how it looks in the era of modern football.
In the new millennium, LSU is 4-6 against Alabama at home,FOUR of those games going into overtime. Props.
You are the only team that has the head to head over LSU in the SEC. No one else does in this century.
In the new millennium, LSU is 5-4 at home in Baton Rouge against the Gayturds. We own you.
And in the new millennium, LSU is 5-4 in Tuskaloser. So, fair to say by the way you manipulate things, LSU owns you there in Gumpland in the new millennium.
And in the new millennium, LSU is 5-5 in Gaynessville
not that we're proud of losing to you middle packers.
And Bama is still melting.
And Florida really isn't going to be that much a factor.
You're both going down in 2019.
Just the facts, chimps.
Have a GREAT day.

Actually, we're going to skull drag Florida and aTm, both in revenge scenerios with matchups all leaning to us this year.
We actually match up very well against the Gumps too.
Very good chance we run the table.

So Saban has been officially dethroned.
The king was schooled via a younger, more aggressive mastermind that completely outcoached him last night in every possible way. Along the way, he set a blueprint for the rest of the SEC giants to see.
Saban looked like he was tired. His team seemed disinterested. Clemson destroyed the man myth once and for all in one night.
Many expect Dabo will eventually coach at Alabama.
It will never happen.
Danny Ford was also an Alabama alumnus; however once he got the Clemson, he never left either. It was simply a better environment for him there. So was Arkansas.
It is what it is.
For Clemson, its not going to change anytime soon. Dabo has a 19 year old quarterback for the generations who is easily Tua's equal. and Clemson is loaded for years to come.
As hard as it is to image, Clemson has succeeded more than A(L)abama has over the last four years. While both teams have won 2 titles each, and have won 55 games each, and beaten each other twice Clemson has one more conference title than A(L)abama, and this beat down was no fluke.
Its not that A(L)abama lost yet again, it's how they lost to the same team they have played and prepared for now for 4 years straight. Most of the time against Clemson, Bama has always had the talent advantage, and even this year still had it.
It matters not.
Plain and simple, Saban was thoroughly out coached. It was if he said, "yeah, that's all I got" when the Les Miles wanabee attempted a fake FG fully seeing Clemson was set up for it.It reminded me of when the SEC caught up to Spurrier. Kirby as a younger coach doing it was one thing. The former king of college football doing it is another.
And the sad truth for A(L)abama fans is that SEC is about ready to get Saban.
UGA is ready to pounce, and should have had them already. LSU, UF. And even aTm are now hunting again. There may be 5 SEC teams in the Top 10 next year. It appears many have taken notice in Tuskaloser as 4 coaches and 7 underclassman, including Josh Jacobs and Quinnen Williams, have gotten the hell out of there before the shite really hits the fan next year. The blueprint has been cast.
The talent gap is narrowing.
Any way you look t it, the head coach for the ages looked like a very tired, old man.
Perhaps Saban is done. Like Spurrier in 2000, he sees the handwriting on the wall.
The typical dumbass Gump will only think it's natural then that Dabo comes home, right?
Wrong.
Dabo is already home. And there are ZERO reasons for Dabo to go to A(L)abama.
At Clemson, he will never have to worry about being compared to Nick Saban or Bear Bryant. He will always have to deal with simple minded Gumps.
The Clemson fan base will adore him until he dies. Bama fans will forever compare him.
He can recruit lights out at Clemson, given his success against who some thought was the greatest college coach of all time. He has little competition, unlike the meat market that is SEC recruiting.
And, oh by the way, he currently has no competition whatsoever that can match Clemson in the ACC. He could easily make the playoffs every year for the next half decade, given the state of that pathetic conference.
Why would Dabo even consider it? He'd would have to deal with the likes of LSU, Georgia, Auburn Florida, aTm, all equally talented gigantic programs that could win a NC title any year as well. Year in, year out. Forever.
Not so much in ACC country.
Poor Dabo, has to deal with Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Pitt, even Miami and Florida St. This isn't 1990 anymore. Clemson is light years ahead of all their ACC counterparts.
And the money is just fine on that side of the track, guys.
Oh yeah, Clemson is a pretty great place to live, unlike that shithole called Tuscaloser.
Bama fans should be happy. It was a great run at the expense of UGA, Auburn, LSU and Florida, all who should have had one or additional NCs by now in the 21st century.
But it's over. That day.....is here.
The king is dead.
Long live the king.

I'll submit further evidence.
Even with Noel Devine coming back, WVU is almost hand picked for LSU. WVU will boast a tall lanky mobile QB, (we supposedly can't contain mobile QBs) a future 1st rounder in Noel Devine (we can't stop the running game, especially the draw) and they return a good bit on the OL and DL. They love to blitz from the corner, which JJ supposedly can't handle, and will risk a long play to jump a route, many times on second down.
LSU will beat WVU easily as well. Looks like I got no takers on the UNC bet. Anyone want to try me on WVU? Or the eight other games LSU will be favored in this year?
ROTFLMAO at the flamers.
==============================================
Looks like these flamers have never played a down of real football in their lives.
No, I don't watch football. I never played it either.
(pause)...
Oh wait, I did, for 20 plus years, and I coached has well. Oh wait, I've also met every LSU coach with the exception of Bo Rein, and probably have spent more time in the FOC than any of you guys...together.
I assure you your flaming opinions are idiotic. You're fans, the worst ones, bandwagon fans, nothing more than uneducated fans who have no idea, none.
You have no idea of what it takes to run a college football program, nor do you have the intelligence to judge someone who runs it.

For the Monry Python loonies, the Jeff Gordon wannabees and the so called Nuts for LSU, I present the following evidence:
Thank you Adam. A voice of reason among idotic Tiger flamers, out to turn every person possible
into a fair weathered fan.
I'll go one step further. Although one flamer had me right in regards to the total offensive output of Pitt, it was more than obvious Pitt stopped themselves the whole game with errors, dropped balls, unforces fumbles. There's a reason why the UNC special teams suck. It's a Davis syndrome. There's a reason why the offense sucks, it's because Davis has no clue.
At least Miles has one. Regardless if he's right or wrong.
I'll admit UNC has perhaps a couple better defensive lineman. I'll admit they have a decent running game. And given the blithering idiots who not only have probably never played a down of football in their life, but are probably bama crossdressers or Sabansuckers, the question remains:
If the talent is the same, will they admit Miles is a better coach when LSU hammers UNC?
quote:
I am a UNC Grad Student, LSU undergrad 06. LSU will DESTROY UNC. I watched a number of their games this year and the D is serviceable, but let me tell you, TJ Yates finds ways to lose games. UNC has no WRs left from 08, an average running game (if that), and did I mention TJ Yates? This team found a way to lose to Virginia. They blew a massive lead to FSU (I was there, and Erin Andrews was the only reason to be). They also gave the game away to Pitt this year in their backyard. No worries, and I will be at the Chick Fil A Kickoff Classic to watch a Tiger victory!!!

You sure about this?? You may want to check your sources. Gonzo is a WR coach, not QB's
Perhaps you should look at what his job is officially at LSU and get back to me.
LINK
BATON ROUGE -- Billy Gonzales, who spent the past five years coaching the wide receivers at Florida, has joined the LSU staff as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator, head coach Les Miles announced on Friday.
Gonzales replaces D.J. McCarthy on the LSU staff.
As passing game coordinator, Gonzales will work with offensive coordinator Gary Crowton in developing strategies for LSU’s passing attack.
I assure you, he will be helping more than just the wideouts. He'll be able to decipher what JJ can and can't do. He'll be able to determine if JJ can in fact take it to the top rung, or if Crowton can relate to the QBs. IMO, Gonzo is the next super OC in waiting.
It's more than just a WR coach. Again, the flamers can't see past their hand. Gonzales will
be the difference this year. Chavis and Cooper will jell the defense this year.
But, we're getting past the subject hand. You say UNC is basically equal to LSU, or close to LSU in talent> I say LSU is going to whack UNC, and I say that will prove Miles is a better coach than
Butch Davis.
When it happens, will you admit it?

Really they are not, and even if they were LSU is not the same team as the 2007 version. Most people could tell that with the play from past couple seasons.
--------------------------------------------
This is sad, and really pissing me off.
I simply don't see you as an LSU fan, your posts over the last several months don't give us any indication you are.
Look,#3,and the rest of the LSU/Miles flamers, I'm going to make it as easy as I can for you.
This is not 2007.
IT AINT 2008 or 2009, EITHER.
LSU has key leaders, specifically players in key positions next year, to take these last two years and shove it down these idiots' throats.
The coaching, as bad as it supposedly has been, was 2 plays away from a 11-2 and Top 5-6 finish
this past year. Yet everyone wants to harp on a
the negatives, and you wish to challange the people who see positives.
You're a flamer for doing it. You're adding to the demise of LSU. Props.
Everybody knows Miles has been a poor game clock manager. He makes some bad calls, and he lets the coordinators do too much sometimes. He's also a great recruiter, a good planner, and an excellent special teams guy. IMO, he also can improve because of the talent he has available.
He's loyal as they come, and because of that specific loyalty he's made TWO critical mistakes: 1) trusting his friends as co-coordinators under Pellinis system; and 2) NOT stepping in earlier when it became apparent JJ was not picking up GC's system as quickly as he hoped.
He's addressed BOTH. Last year he hired Chavis,
and Ron Cooper. Had LSU's defense been able to get off the field, LSU would have had an outstanding year. Can you not see the whole picture?
So the offense sucked in 2008.
We "only" went 9-4.
GC's offense either flourishes or flounders on the QB making proper reads. JJ had a month to prepare for GT, and then suffered because 1) the Ol never jelled; and 2) he was having trouble with his reads. Les needed a QB coach to plug the hole.
This year, he's hired Gonzales. He brought a QB coach to come in and help JJ. The same guy also has WR experience and will help the development of gamebrakers like Randle and Shephard. Gonzales is a QB/WR coach who shadowed some of the greatest college football offenses EVER.
Can you not see the whole picture?
Well let me help you a little more. Perhaps you should look at what Butch Davis has done lately.
Butch Davis now has a HISTORY of crappy offenses, far worse than Miles could ever create. His special teams suck. He can, and will be outcoached a lot more than you think. Many UNC fans simply think he's not motivated, and goves little overall effort outside the defense, PERIOD. A most recent article in the Charlotte Obsever said the same thing.
I was dead against his hire at LSU, and know for a fact we nade a better move hiring Les Miles.
Once more...Do you see the whole picture?
Disagree?
Then answer me this: if the teams are equal, what will the negatigers say when LSU (and moreso, Les Miles) destroys UNC (and moreso, Butch Davis) ?
I hope that clears things up for you.
Now, in case you don't understand how LSU fans feel offended by some of the things you've stated, well, perhaps this might help.
I hate #3.
The most overrated NASCAR driver in NASCAR in the 1990s.
He was a wife cheating, foul mouth, son beating drunk who regularly WAS ALLOWED to cheat to win, HAD to cheat to win, who without Chevy's lopsided moneybag was half the driver people think.
He was actually washed up long, and mean LONG before he died, and he died because he was simply too freaking stupid and actually thought his "legend" earned him the idiotic "right" to intentionally drift down and think no one would challenge his equally idiotic lane block.
As a result, he died... HE caused his own death, no one but he himself.
And had he been racing now, and drifted again, he'd be just as ignorant, and probably just as dead, because he was too stupid to take anyone's advice on head gear.
Given the same set of rules, #3 simply wasn't that good. That same ignorance allowed Gordon to blow by him, as did Labonte in the mid 1990s, renderiung him as sad as an old man could be,
like Arnold Palmer was in his last 10 Masters tourneys.
Richard Petty, in his prime, would have beaten the hell out of him. Jeff Gordon, with half the experience, DID.
The NASCAR kids today. given the same field, would have took that "badass' attitude and spit it back real quick. When I drive into Concord or Kannapolis on Highway 3... honestly...I'm embarrassed by any fool in Kannapolis that still grives in front of his fence a DEI, and laugh that Dale Jr simply dropped DEI for the cheaters they are.
Anyone that still thinks #3 is their "hero" are no better than gumps that idolize Bear Bryant, a coach that would be equally as inept in this generation, are as stupid as they come.
[b] BTW....have a GREAT day.

Not at all, you saying LSU will fail next year, without any proof to the same, is my reason to call you a flamer.
If you're thinking that the teams are pretty even, you may have some explaining to do...
if Miles beats Davis and his great defense... right?

Nuts, you're a complete and epic failure at this point. You were once a decent poster. Either Obama has brainwashed you, or you've been in Saban's closet too long.
Perhaps we should drum up some of your posts from 3-4 years ago. I seem to remember how much you liked the GC when he was hired, and I pretty much remember telling you that Jimbo would never be a great OC at FSU. Turned out you were wrong there as well.
Anyway you slice it, Miles has been more successful than any other LSU coach. He's made bad decisions, good decisins, bad hires, good hires. He's addressing the areas of problem, like hiring Gonzo and Chavis.
Miles made some of his own bad luck, had bad luck, and was a couple plays away from 11-2. ANd you and I both know that if Perriloux would'nt have bombed, we'd never be here talkin about all this.
Until then, stop being such an jack arse, because Miles is still light years better than several LSU head coaches over the last 30 years, and several that coach today.
Miles will either turn the ship around, or be fired. Simple as that.

So in other words......
50% of their possessions ended up scoring. Half of their possessions resulting in points.
1 TO.
2 punts.THE ENTIRE GAME
Oh yeah, bad arse.
Oh and one more thing... they fumbled 4 times, losing one fumble, and STILL averaged nearly 6 yards a play.
