Gumps are behind all this???

I haven’t seen the OG Gumps I trust say anything on this at all, and will defer to them, but I don’t see them being behind this. They may be a lot of things but one thing the Gumps I know and the REC aren’t fricking stupid, and never have been. They play both the short and long game.
And the one thing sports pundits are saying across the nation is that this is stupid and dangerous. Alabama Athletic Department is not stupid and they don’t take unnecessary risks. Plus this is a big “fish or cut bait” for Deboer this year and that’s the focus of all the gumps I know, and that has nothing to do with LSU.
This has personal grievance written all over it. I think this is 100% Sankey, and when it does bad, and it will now no matter what happens because he created a “catch 22” situation, he will be fall guy.
Just my 2 cents worth, but it’s too stupid to be bama.

I think Tennessee is pushing the hardest.

No it is 15 Presidents telling Sankey they want LSU to fall in line with the rules. LSU needs to understand that since Texas and Oklahoma were added, they are JAG now and the LSU President will be wise to step in and ensure the Commisioner is shown respect.

Why would we push our enemies (bama) enemy (LSU) out? Can't count on Auburn to do anything so we welcome you beating their arse. I actually typically root for LSU when you aren't playing us

Why would you root for LSU? Auburn has a better record against Alabama than every other SEC school since Saban came to Alabama. Assuming at least 10 games have been played. This would exclude teams like OU and Texas.
