How so? This isn't a Chavis D with 225lb LB's.
We have big nasty s now. Devin White is a monster.
You keep just saying these things and dont really back them up.

Sometimes you say things like this. DO you honestly think Aranda doesn't have a package to account for TE's?
Are you this fricking dense?

And while I realize Fitz has improved a lot since last year, you might want to have a gander at what Aranda's D did to him. Or (as they are a similar type of player) go watch Heisman winner Lamar Jackson's performance in the Citrus Bowl against LSU.
MSU isn't running the same offense as Louisville. That matters ALOT!

Right. MSU is running the same Offense Aranda shut down last year.
Terrible grind this morning Skippy.

Apples to oranges sir. MSU's rushing attack has produced 6. End of that.
Passing TDs 6. End of that.

Without TEs that are capable of catching, LSU's job would be easier. But MSU has several TEs that are catching hard passes and scoring. The RB size now means harder to tackle.
Only rebuttal I have is have you seen our Linebacker Situation this year? Big guys with speed. As long as our front 3 can hold up the line we can play a nickle and should have everything covered. Just my thoughts. I could be dead arse wrong. 28-24 type of game....How is Miss States kicking game?...

Really should be interesting to watch, helps that both offenses have been lining up against 3-4 in practice all fall.
Kicking game is garbage but we are optimistic since he's young. Has hit some FG's but leaves extra points too low and had one or two blocked last week as a result. Just growing pains, apparently nobody pumps out kickers anymore.

Somebody from 2014. MButterfly apparently hasn't gotten over it like the others.

Yes. Very nice group.

Here is what I am talking about. Watch the first 35 seconds.

That's a read with passing option. LB has to respect the run, if he does not.... that's a 6 yard run by the QB.
1- LB respecting Williams
1- LB spying the QB
That left the seam open.

The biggest difference is I think our speed across the front 7 can cover side to side. I believe if State is going to win it will be from stretching the field. Most of our LBs are 4.5-4.8 guys. But I do understand what you are trying to point out with the holes/gaps in the defense.

Oh you know just a few other 5 star DBs.

I'm saying that no matter what MSU (because of the TE production and RB production) is going to have one on one options consistently.
As in the video, If your LBs react to the run, the TE will be open.
Had the LBs covered, Fitz or Williams will get 5-7 yards.
If MSU doesn't have those TEs and still running a 160 pound back, we have a different story.

Nick Fitzgerald vs LSU 2016
12/24 120 yards 0TD/0int
13 rushes for 13 yards.
Will Fitz beat last year's numbers? Doubtful.

True, but the leading rusher in the SEC from last year in the 2016-2017 season and new heisman contender Derrius Guice will be coming out of the tunnel... :-)

Who said we were no longer a running team? We are simply a team that may spend a few minutes actually thinking about an offensive gameplan each week now.
We didn't before, proof is Mile's comments on how to beat Alabama...

LSU will have around 200 yards rushing this Saturday. They are a running team and very good at it.

I dont think you know much about defensive schemes.

Except for the fact that they are down almost 3 yards per carry from last year.
