I remember that game clearly, Texas had no chance. How people forget the past so easily.
Unless Colt McCoy was a star on defense and gave up 24 points to bama in the 2nd quarter...

No it will be 4 games. Also lost the last two games of 2013, Kiffin started working at bama in 2014

And we possibly beat Clemson again in last year's title game if Bo doesn't get hurt.
shite happens. It's part of football.
Injuries have certainly changed the outcome of countless big games. Which ones? We'll never know for sure.

You only beat Clemson the first game because several of their best players were hurt. This includes maybe their 2nd best player behind Deshaun Watson missing the entire game

Well, Mac Brown did want Cam and Johnny Football to play defense. He might have told McCoy to get in there at Safety.

Nobody talks about Bama missing Donta Hightower (who is a better football player than Colt McCoy) being out with injury

Based on that, who needed to get hurt to avoid the 21-0 arse-whipping?
Posted on 9/1/17 at 10:56 am to pvilleguru
Exactly. Mc Elroy was hurt so that basically shuts down Julio Freaking Jones. With a healthy Mc Elroy Bama hangs 50 on that defense. They KNEW Bama was going to run it and could not stop it. With Jones able to operate normally Texas has zero chance.

Don't bet on that. We were shredding that secondary.

It's pretty clear that if Johnny hadn't been dinged up against LSU his first year, we'd have won that natty.

It was a joke. Regardless, any time Colt faced a decent defense he played horrible. Bama was not losing that game

Would be like losing Jalen Hurts, not Bo. Playing a backup RB is not the same as a backup QB who sucks.

Garrett Gilbert was 15-40 for 186 yards with 2 TDs and 4 INTs.

He hit two big passes on busted coverage assignments that went for TDs. Both plays featured Shipley running WIDE open.

What is it with Bama struggling to cover slow white guys at receiver? Shipley, Renfrow, Swope at A&M in the 2012 game.
