Greg Sankey has our conference under control. We are in good hands.

According to 247sports, Sankey praised Florida, including athletic director Jeremy Foley, while being critical of how LSU took the issue public throughout the process.
“I’ve been concerned since Monday when lines were drawn in the sand,” Sankey said, according to 247sports. “We are a conference that has done really, really well in handling things inside … It is difficult to come to conclusions when we are publicly stating lines in the sand. We can’t do that.
“And I give great credit to Jeremy Foley, great credit for when we reached an impasse, for stepping forward in I think the best interest of the conference, showing willingness to make an adjustment to this year’s schedule and to flip next year’s game.
“I give credit to the University of Florida for stepping forward to do that. We were coming to a place where we had to take a very different approach. I don’t think it would have been healthy.” On
Thursday, Foley made similar comments, saying that LSU made the process more difficult.

I think everyone outside the state of Louisiana already knew this.

This is SOP for everyone in that state. There's a reason why businesses have fled there and it's broke.

How many other conferences figured out how to play a game last weekend?
Posted on 10/16/16 at 5:41 pm to roadGator
Sankey created the mess then got upset when LSU wasn't willing to take a $6.5M hit to clean up Sankey's mess.

How many of those traveling schools demanded the game be played at their home stadium?

Like when Florida refused to play Saturday, Sunday, or Monday?

You'll have to ask Sankey. His words. Not mine.

You also missed the part about LSU offering to fly to Gainesville Sunday morning, play the game, then fly home Sunday night.
Florida declined.

I don't think any traveling school demanded that.
Including LSU.
How many Florida schools asked the traveling team to cancel a later home game?
1. Guess who.

I would ask Sankey but he's obviously an idiot and probably wouldn't comprehend my question

Baton Rouge is going to take that hit and then some. The revenue lost in next year's conference game vs Florida will far exceed the sum generated by the game vs South Alabama.

And the revenue created this year vs Florida will far exceed the sum that would've been generated by south Alabama
