Would love to see what the lawyers walked away with and what O'Bannon walked away with on this deal.

I saw Ed O'Bannon play for a Polish team while I was living in eastern Europe in 2004. Even though he last played in the NBA in 1997, he made $200,000-$400,000 a year for another six or seven years. He may not have made millions, be he made a bigger pile of cash in those six or seven years than many of us will see in a lifetime.

I found that a HB Toss to the right on JV in NCAA '99 was virtually unstoppable.

I was 12 and did that all the time and got 30+ yards per run.

So many kids will miss out on playing as their uninvolved fathers. Think about the children.

I've been following CFB and UGA as long as I have a memory, so I remember I was always wanting an NCAA football game but they didn't exist. The first one I ever recall seeing was for the computer, I think it was NCAA '98 or '99 (I didn't have a console then). It had Quincy and patrick pass for UGA. I wore that thing slap out. During summer vacations, my daily routine was wake up, play Ken Griffey Jr Major League Baseball for a while, make lunch and play NCAA on the old arse comp for a while, watch Wings on USA, repeat game cycle.

F YES - 90S RULE

My summer routine was

820ish AM - wake up, get corn pops, watch the last 40 minutes of Sportscenter, then watch it again at 9 AM to make sure I didn't miss anything

10 AM - watch Wings on USA

11 AM until I got yelled at - play the EA Baseball game and then CFB when it came out

2ish PM - go to pool, get told to go out side

4-5 PM - go to baseball practice/game

7 PM - watch the Braves and listen to Skip and Pete with my dad

The fvckin life

Milestones I remember on NCAA

1995 or 1996 - they were allowed to use all the team names and licenses (Bill Walsh wasn't)

1996 or 1997 - dynasty mode created, you could recruit

2003ish - move to PS2, graphics amazing

2004/2005ish - added Nike/Adidas logos to jerseys, AMAZING

2007ish - ability to add your own songs to the game

Having to discipline players for off the field stuff in dynasty was added around this time. I wish they would have never removed that.

Ah I forgot about that. Wasn't there one year where there was some sort of illegal activity thing in there? That and the off field problems didn't last long.

Of course adding the "Heisman" mode or whatever it was was a big deal, I just never really got into that much. I'm much more of a management nerd in dynasty mode.

I remember when this first came out, 2006 or so, it included options to study, go out or train for each week. You had to balance it right or your player would be affected. Unhappy, poor grades or poor performance.

It was awesome. Then they fricked it all up like they do with every game.

My first one was 01, but 02 NCAAF was a game-changer. I was blown away by the graphics and realistic presentation. That's when the game really took off and it became a cultural phenomenon, in the gaming sense. Truly the granddaddy of them all.

1-AA teams, at the time, and historical teams were the shite in 2005 too. I used to kick all my friends arse with a teens era ND team running the wishbone.

I understand that money is measurable, but BEING IN a video game that's played by millions of people?

How much is that exposure worth?

Oh ok. So I'll just make an Iron Man game and tell Disney to chill the frick out b/c the exposure is worth it.

Then when I'm done with that, I'll do a Day in the Life of Tom Cruise which will reveal he thinks all of his movies are actually real life situations. I'll give him the exposure line as well.

Not me, I bought it because I wanted to be UGA. Also I was the nerd who instead of going on ebay and buying the loaded rosters for $5 I used the media guide and changed every player manually

Ditto, for Bama's roster
