The Chattooga isn't on the list either.

No respect at all for Burt Reynolds, Jon Voight and the rest of the "DELIVERANCE" cast.

I cam close to nominating all 4 because all 4 are incredible BUT they are all in South Carolina and I thought it best to allow someone from the Palmetto State to do the honor...they did not and they were left off the list regrettably.

1 – Mississippi River - cesspool, but economically important
16 – Colorado River - gave us the Grand Canyon

8 – Tickfaw River
9 – White River

5 – Buffalo River
12 – Yazoo River

4 – Ohio River
13 – Tallahatchie River

3 – The Old Tombigbee
14 – Black Warrior River

6 – Chattooga River
11 – Altamaha River

7 – Coosa River
10 – Pearl River

2 – Chattahoochee (Apalachicola) River
15 – Flint River

1 – Arkansas River
16 – Alabama River

8 – Frio River
9 – Brazos River

5 – St John's River
12 – Sabine River

4 – Red River
13 – Savannah River

3 – Cumberland River
14 – Santa Fe River

6 – Illinois River
11 – Wando River - honestly, the only grouping of which I have never heard of either

7 – Big Black River
10 – Suwanee River

2 – Tennessee River - want to see the formula. It's easily the #1 seed overall in terms of beauty, great fishing, and historical importance. Plus, boat Tailgating at a UTk game couldn't happen without it, and that is the most incredible experience in the SEC
15 – Missouri (Yankee) River
