So Arkansas state and Louisiana are better than Washington state and Missouri. I don’t remember 1995 but

I’m skeptical about those hot takes in bama schedule

Like Highlander there can be only 1

+ played in an era where you played both offense and defense (no rest)
+ 12-0 under the tutelage of a first year coach, outscored opponents 322-10
+ 12 games and only Auburn scored on them (Heisman was Auburns HC)
+ 11 shut outs
+ 9 of 12 games (75%) were on the road
+ 3 home games were Vols (46-0) + SW Pres (54-0) + Cumberland (71-0)
+ Beat SEC : Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Tulane, LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn
+ Beat SWC : Texas and Texas A&M
+ Beat ACC : North Carolina
+ won @ UGA, @ GT, and vs UT between October 21 and October 28
+ won @ Utx, @ TAMU, @ Tulane, @ LSU, and Ole Miss (Memphis) from Nov 9 and Nov 14
+ Beat Auburn in AL on Nov 30 then beat UNC on the road on Dec 2
+ had 5 shutouts in 6 days (91-0) by train and covering 2,500 miles
+ 11 of 12 wins were against conference foes
+ Charter member of the SEC when it formed in 1932

For those unfamiliar with Nashville, the HC left football to become the publisher of The Tennessean. While at this job he gave an unknown sportswriter his 1st job. While this young Vanderbilt alum was not known then, he would carve out a legacy in the field of sports writers. His name was Grantland Rice.

Alabama is the first team basically ever (1880s Yale team) to win its first 12 games all by 20+ points.

We remember 95 Nebraska destroying Florida but Alabama has destroyed EVERYONE.

If Alabama wins all 15 games by 20+ there is no denying it that they will be the GTOAT

Nebraska beat 4 teams that finished in the top 10 by an average MOV of over 30 points. Y'all have only done it to 1 so far.

I think Nebraska can make a case for best team several times. In person, that 71 husker team is still one if the best I ever saw. So was 83.

This Bama team, all around, is the best sec team I've ever seen.
