I just have more appreciation for men going toe to toe in more or less mutual awareness of each other’s presence than a limp dick QB getting mauled as he prances around aimlessly

If you're on a fvcking FB Field, then don't fvcking prance around aimlessly, and while you're at don't be a limp dick regardless of position

The rules of FB don't say shyt about "men going toe to toe", should a strip fumble from the ball carrier's blindside be disallowed because he didn't go toe to toe with the Defender?

Your toe to toe argument is weak at best, at worst a load of crap

That was definitely the biggest hit I’ve seen in person, pretty sure everyone thought Reggie Brown was dead

I definitely did, Brown said he has no recollection of it

It's only a cheap shot if you lead with the Crown of the Helmet, lead with the crown of the shoulder pads it is a clean shot, crackback blocks above the waist with contact initiated by the shoulder pads is and has always been clean, hard nosed FB

No, blindside blocks are illegal now

Need to find the other video of him getting leveled though. Pretty sure it’s the one where his helmet exploded

Other guy who laid him out was Craig Loston on a kick return in 2010. Nice bookend to his career

No flag, so clearly the hit/block was clean.

That was a cheap shot because it was the crown of the Helmet initiating the contact to the Helmet-Earhole of the opponent, he could have made just a big of hit with shoulder to shoulder contact

Don't go over the middle against Eric Reid.

And I still don't know how this happened.

Yeah, based on bullshyt rules changes led by Lawyers

Notice that Coaches that Teach Safety, never come up with these bullshyt rules

Punk azzed OLs that high-low DLs is a worse injury problem and much dirtier FB than a crackback above the waist led by the shoulder pads

But the Media doesn't give a shyt about knee injuries, so no one cares about Legit safety issues like those

We’re just gonna have to agree to disagree my man. I love my team decleating a QB just as much as the next guy but was trying to avoid that kind of hit in this particular discussion.

Just get over it

Perfect Tackle

Led with the crown of the shoulder pads, head across the ball carrier, no spearing

But these new school soft bitches wanna call that "targeting" - hell yeah it's targeting, in order to hit something really hard you have to target it first

Perfect Tackle

I mean except for it was interference on a punt return. can't lay the guy out before the ball gets there. And there's nothing impressive about killing a guy who's standing still waiting for a football to get to him.

My gosh that Rosegreen hit was orgasmic. I was there and lost my mind. Thought he killed whatever the dude’s name is.
