Newton counts for Texas too because he played JUCO ball at Blinn in Brenham.

No, he only counts for Georgia, because that is where he is from. Also, I would take California over Texas right now

Carson Palmer
Aaron Rodgers
Tony Romo
Mark Sanchez
Tom Brady
Matt Cassel
and thats just off the top of my head there. Then you have Andrew Luck and Matt Barkley who both look like they are going to be great pro Qbs

Andrew Luck is from Texas, not California.

Top quarterback prospects in this year's NFL draft:

Luck (Texas)
Griffin (Texas)
Coles (Texas)
Tannehill (Texas)

Troy Aikman
Mark Bunell
Randall Cunningham
Dan Fouts
Warren Moon

Matt Lienart
John Beck
David Carr
Matt Moore

Texas and its not even close. First off they have 24m people but also because they all love high school football.

Texas is a great southern state. If you don't believe me just ask any Texan.

How about the city with the best QBs?

Terry Bradshaw
Craig Bradshaw
Joe Ferguson
David Woodley
Stan Humphries
Josh Booty
Brock Berlin
Thomas Maddox
Willis Owen
Carlos Brown

All played NFL...some more notables that just played college not listed.

And I think I'm forgetting someone.

If you want to count cities, where do you draw the line on Los Angeles?

Chris Weinke, Steve Walsh, and Joe Mauer all went to Cretin-Derham Hall in Minnesota.

Apparently those are names are not just from Pennsylvania, but specifically Pittsburgh. There are six HOF's in all (that list plus Namath).
