In what universe does he qualify as a great player? He hasn't even been a starter.

D'Shawn Hand

He hasn't started a game either, and he didn't really do much until the Clemson game. Weird answers, man.

Bo Jackson - 1985

UT held him to 80 yards on 15 carries. He came into the game averaging 275 yards per game that season.

Knowshon Moreno (at least one year we played him)
We did pretty nicely defending Tebow his senior year
Florida's entire front 7 last year
Samaje Perine both years
Mark Ingram in 09

Nowhere did the OP said they had to be a starter and BOTH are great players.

Tony Brown is a 5*, #1 corner in the country coming out of HS.

Hand was the #1 player in the country at one point and finished in top #5.

Both are great players.

It seems like A&M always has players that they consider "great" and then when they play us they're a non-factor. For example, manziel, mike evans, christian kirk, speedy noil, myles garrett

TB destroyed your kickoff return guy and didn't really see the field the rest of the game.

Same for Hand lol. They have to play to talk about their play.

You sure you don't want to rethink this one bud?

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama put the game in Mark Ingram's hands -- and he put it away.

The bulldozing tailback churned out a career-high 246 yards and the game-clinching touchdown to power the second-ranked Crimson Tide to a 20-6 victory Saturday night against No. 22 South Carolina when the rest of the offense wasn't clicking.

He won the Heisman based on his performance in that game.

Julio had 10 receptions for 89 yards and 1 TD.

he had like 50 or 60 of those yards on a screen play where Brandon Taylor was matched up with him and he made BT miss. not saying it wasnt a good play, just saying PP7 held him to like 9 receptions for more like 45 yards which isnt very impressive.

Julio had 7 catches for 128 yards his freshman year

PP7 wasnt a full time starter in 2008, he split time with Jai Eugene that year. not saying he didnt best PP7, just saying its possible that some of those stats came against someone else.

Emmitt Smith never gained 100 yards in any game in his 4 years against Auburn.

As I recall, that game was played in Kville in the rain. Auburn played like shite the whole game. Terrible. I was so pissed.

Tebow never beat Auburn, but his game wasn't exactly pedestrian against us in 2007 (the only year he started).

20-27 for 201 yds, 1 TD/ 1 INT, 19 carries, 75 yds, 1 TD

Mark Ingram is a great choice - -16 carries, 30 yds in the 2009 Iron Bowl., 10 carries 41 yds in the 2010 game.

In Fournette's defense, it's hard to run when you have 6 people hitting you in the backfield. Alabama's defense has destroyed our o-line the past two years to the point of embarassment.

Ingram would be in my top 3. However, clemson's WR Sammy Watkins would be #1.
In 3 games against SC, he had ZERO 100 yd games, 0 TD's, and 1 INT. He threw an INT his last game against. I always thought it was funny that as a WR he had more INT's against us than TD's.

Pretty sure Ingram dominated us in 2009 though when he kept running the wildcat and gashing us like all wildcat formations did
