WITH LSwho losing 8 STRAIGHT to the CRIMSON TIDE, they desperately needed that BAMA win to gain some much needed respect.
In order for the series to be considered a rivalry, y'all gotta beat us every once in a while.
Ed O had every right to swear the BAMA brand.
It was a lifetime of losing frustration let out in that happy locker room.

I agree with you. LSU FB, but more importantly Coach O, needed that win to gain respect and prove he could beat Saybun.
He earned that respect by scoring more points (46) on bama than any other team at home in well over 100 years.
