D tier sounds right for SC

Too high.

UF will fire Napier before we fire Beamer, but neither make it to Jan1

No one is in S tier beyond UGA until they prove it and UGA is there because of the last few seasons. They get the vote of confidence.

Texas does look good but UGA has been operating on a different level.

Yeah, I’ve seen multiple 5 stars on VT’s two deep. Especially at the front 7 on defense. That defense is one of the best front 7 in the nation.

Clemson’s not what they once were but they damn sure aren’t losing to Vandy.

You obviously didn't watch the aggy game because they belong in the tier just below Florida

Based on what the teams have done, it's more straight forward.

1 - Beat a ranked team

UGA

2 - Beat a major conference team

Vandy

3 - Trounced a cupcake

Texas
Bama
Ole Miss
Mizzou
Arkansas
MSU
Auburn
Tennessee
Oklahoma
UK

4 - Lost close to a ranked team

A&M
LSU

5 - Barely beat a cupcake

South Carolina

6 - Got their asses kicked

Florida

Using recruiting rankings to back up a point about on field product is such a Georgia fan cop out move

They play this year. It will be a one score game one way or the other.

Horns looked solid but we’ll see if they’re still S-tier after going to Big House.

One concern I have is that it didn’t look like the OL could really impose their will again CSU and grind when they wanted to. They didn’t really have to since passing game was working so well, but this will be something I look for vs Michigan.

I have a sneaking suspicion that both Georgia and Texas' big early OOC wins (I'm assuming y'all are going to win this Saturday) are going to look much less impressive as the season progresses and Clemson and Michigan show who they really are.

I was impressed with Clemson defense for one half. Their offense was horseshite and your D can only hold up for so long. You knew the dam would eventually break. I give a lot of credit to UGA defense for making Clemson look inept but I thought the play calling was average, predictable and boring. You can’t just lineup and go versus UGA. You have to be creative.

If Clemson can drum up an offense, big if, they can win the ACC.

I think the Gators are better than their arse kicking but held back by inferior coaching. They won’t be able to show how good they could be with poor coaching and the really tough schedule. I think they will upset a couple teams but this might be one of the worse seasons in history.

Arkansas would only drop because we have a tough schedule, not because we’re a bad team.

Maybe so, we'll see. However, UGa also crushed them like a bug. UGa is still elite, IMO.

Not knowing what a good defense is is such a Tennessee fan thing. Their front 7 is damn good. They’ll beat the hell out VT

Fair list, I'd keep OU in the middle until I see them play Tennessee.

We can’t all play powerhouses like Chattanooga to start the year.

Pretty sure this is based off of 40 straight regular season wins and not many close games in that stretch. Consistency

Again, remember who they played on Saturday.

UGA opened with Oregon in 2022. They beat Oregon 49-3.

Oregon scored 38 points a game that year. They finished #15 in the nation.

Being held to low production by UGA doesn't mean your offense sucks. UGA has a history of putting up great defenses. Sometimes they do that to good teams.
