While I understand the majority of LSU fans and grads stay or come from Louisiana, most of Ole Miss alumni, including myself, don't live in Mississippi. Maybe that's why I think it would be a joke if my governor or any other would spend his time recruiting a college football player.
For all that ole miss fans are mad at lane, or Saban or whomever some anger has been directed towards and yeah probably jealousy over losing our coach, I still can't get over the fact there is a governor getting this involved in a college sport program's affairs. And the crazy thing is he didn't even go there.

Like what? The first thing that happened is yall going batshit crazy over it taking us more than 3 days to get a QB and being slow in the portal. This board was very interested in the portal until things went sideways for their view points. So don’t post dumb shite if you don’t want retaliation. This is an LSU originated board after all of course there will be many that flock to that when the going gets good. Not that I agree with that either. Just tired of weeding through all the bullshite.

I guess you’ve never heard/read about Huey P. Long. What Landry is doing is just par for the course here lol. As someone pointed out here the other day Landry is either the luckiest SOB ever who fell arse backwards into this whole thing working out or he’s actually an evil genius.

Please back this up with facts. Sounds like a reach to connect two unrelated things together to try to make a point. The buyout was always being paid by an outside source. What facts? We improved and added depth at DT DE/ S/ CB. If Ferreli is in then we upgraded at LB too.
TC is going ot get the injunction and waiver. Lacy is the best RB in the country. Need a LT and get Lee back in the boat (He is coming back if TC gets the waiver) then we will be more talented this year everywhere but WR. More depth at RB. Best K in the country back.
Ole Miss is in great shape. Good luck with the O line issues and spending all your money on 9 WR. Been there done that.
