For six months of the year, baseball fans who don't live on the Amtrak Northeast Corridor have New York and Boston shoved down their throats. Now, college football fans who don't live on the Gulf Coast must stomach a national championship mandated by the SEC-industrial complex. At which point purple and crimson alike, fueled by Pat O'Brien's, will join in lungstep, chanting "S-E-C! S-E-C!"

He makes it sound as if the vast majority of the country didn't want this rematch. I didn't realize that the majority of the voters in the harris, coaches, and AP polls lived in the gulf south. good to know
