I don't post here as much as the regulars, but he is a real piece of work.
He is so much more intelligent and wealthier than us poor dregs of society, that we have to take him seriously!

Kalen Defour has lost four games in back-to-back seasons for the first time in his coaching career.
Readers added context:
LSU lost 4 or more games the last two seasons in a row and five out of the last six. During this time frame they have two 4 loss seasons, one 5 loss season, one 6 loss season, and one 7 loss season.
In Lane Kiffin’s 12 full seasons as a college head coach he had 4 or more losses in 6 of them; 50% of his seasons. He had 6 or more losses three times; two 6 loss seasons and one 7 loss season; 25% of the time.
LSU has regularly been losing 4-7 games pet season. You hired a coach who regularly lost 4-7 games.

What does this have to do with Alabama?
This has everything to do with Alabama. Which is why most of the feigned outrage came from Rece Davis, etc. More outrage coming from Alabama and proxies than Mississippi since the announcement.
Bammers thought they were going to get Lane at their leisure. Now, having to deal with him at LSU with real talent…for years. And, they know what’s coming. BTA.

No. Lane wanted to coach Ole Miss in front of the cameras while prioritizing our rival. Can you imagine this portal week if Keith Carter wasn’t the best ad in the country? Of course the team would not be here right now because it’s hard to rally behind a quitter.

Lane Kiffin may turn LSU into a juggernaut.
But… LSU fans are celebrating hiring the next Nick Saban. They are celebrating at least one, probably more, national championships he will win in his first few years. They are spiking the football over their amazing hire. Just like last time.
All the while the same LSU fans make fun of Ole Miss for never even playing in the SEC championship game. Even though Lane Kiffin was there six seasons.
It is like there is a blown fuse that doesn’t allow them to reconcile those two facts. Or like they mis-wired the trailer, because the trailer lights don’t match the truck lights. If Lane Kiffin is Nick Saban 2.0, why did he not get Ole Miss to the SEC championship even one time?
The last coach you hired had a much more impressibe resume and track record. And he flamed out. But this time will be different. Because…just because. And ignore that his first two weeks have been messier and uglier than any new hire in…. I can’t think of a recent one that has been uglier.
All they are doing is setting themselves up to crash and burn if Lane isn’t as successful as they are claiming. The way so many have showed their arse to absolutely everyone, well those people will not forget. And they will rub LSU’s collective nose in it over, and over, and over again like a dog that shite inside the house.

Ole Miss is limited long term.
But to your point. LSU fans that act like Kiffin is a sure thing are not being honest.

Hell, let’s just look at those three at LSU.
In 5 seasons at LSU, Nick Saban lost 3 or more games 4 out of 5 seasons He lost 4 or more twice. He even had a 5 loss season. He won a national championship. His record was 48-16; .750. That is an average regular season record of 9-3.
In 12 seasons, Les Miles had 3 or more losses in 7 out of 12 seasons. He had 4 or 5 losses in four seasons. His last 5 seasons he never had a season with less than three losses. And he ended up getting all the wins from 4 seasons, 38 total, stripped from the program. He won one national championship. His record on the field was 115-34; .771. His official record is 77-34; .694. His average regular season record was 9.2 - 2.8, so 9-3. He was fired.
Orgeron was coach for 5 seasons. Like Saban he had 3 or more losses in 4 of 5 seasons. And he won a national championship. His bad was a little worse than Saban’s. Like Saban, he had 3, 4 and 5 loss seasons plus a 7 loss season. His record was 51-20; .718. His regular season record was 8.6 - 3.4, so 9-3. He was fired.
Even if Kiffin replicates Saban exactly and loses 12 games in his first three seasons, like Saban did, he may not make it to see season number four. Many LSU fans, even your AD, have stated they have higher expectations than what the best coach in college football history was able to deliver at LSU. Averaging 9-3; like Saban did; will not satisfy fans and admins.
All you are expecting, no demanding, is for Lane Kiffin to be the best coach in LSU history.

You can tell when a punch lands, you go straight to “strawman”, “retard”, etc.
