Name them.
You can't name the 7 worst teams in the conference?
Vandy
Ole Miss
Miss St
Kentucky
Arkansas
South Carolina
Tennessee
How many BCS bowl wins in that group up above?
Tech beat 3 SEC teams in 2016. There were 6 SEC teams that season who did not have more than 3 SEC wins.
Tech has beaten UGA more recently than Tennessee, Vandy, Kentucky, and Missouri.
Tech's 20 year record against UGA is about the same as those above teams (you can probably add Auburn to that list).

So GT is equal or better than:
Ole Miss
Miss St
Arkansas
South Carolina
Tennessee
?
How many BCS bowl wins for GT?
Or appearances?
Ole Miss
Miss St
Arkansas
South Carolina
Tennessee

At least 1 in the past 10 years.
I think Tennessee has 1.
Who else?

UGA can chose its opponents though.

You can only choose from available options who are willing to play UGA

Gt isn't better than half the acc teams, they're at least trying again but I'd say in the last ten years they'd be ahead of vandy.

And chose to play Ohio State in '20 and '21 along with Oklahoma this year and UGA had nothing to do with those games being cancelled.

Urban Meyer singing the blues about the Dawgs' OOC opponents earlier in the week was the height of irony.

How many SEC teams have a BCS bowl win in the past 10 seasons?
Tech isn't a good program the past 10 to 20 years.
But neither is half of the SEC.
If I had to guess, only 4 SEC teams have winning conference records the past 10 or 20 years.

Ole Miss just played them as their marquee OOC game.
You think Ole Miss is cool? You ever hear anyone say “I wish we were Ole miss?”

We appreciate the sentiments and will do our best to continue to carry the torch for the conference.

When was this?
Back in the late '70s early '80s. Penn State scheduled us and uat in the same year and bought out the contract with us.
Happened most recently in 2004 when Oklahoma bought out someone's game with us and we had to schedule The Citadel at the very very last minute.
The talking heads at bspn had a field day with it and never mentioned the fact that Oklahoma created the problem, just that we had no business playing The Citadel.

Congrats to LSU, who scheduled UAB for a nice break in November last season.
