Imagine being a UGA season ticket holder these last few years in particular. The entire East has been a steaming pile of dogshit since Urban Meyer left Florida.
Your home games consist of some combination of Vandy, SC, Kentucky, Mizzou and UT. Even though Florida sucks now you don’t even get a home game with them.
It’s not their fault the East sucks. I honestly feel bad for their fans buying tickets to see that shite.
I assume UGA will continue to win a lot of games but the their fans win no matter what with the impending schedule change… but not next year… all of their premier games are road or neutral.

No it does suck, especially when they made the COVID switch that put Auburn and GT on same schedule. I don't mind the Cocktail Party though. It makes it a unique game and there is always a lot of fun to be had on the coast for the weekend.
Next year's schedule would be fine if they don't screw UGA over the following year with the new schedule matrix.

It also includes an orange bowl win as recently as 2014. For comparison, SC's never played in a BCS/NY6 bowl. Ole Miss last won a BCS bowl in 2016. Tennessee's only BCS level bowl win since 2014 was this past season.
GT just went through a bad hire that they fired last year that had them in the toilet for 5 years. But other than that they've been a solid but unspectacular program on the level of Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Not gonna happen. I have always had season tickets. First with my parents since I could walk and then purchasing my own once I graduated, started my career and bought my own.
I sat thru a 4 win season in 1990 with sell out crowds and never once questioned why I was there. I was there because I love UGA, win or lose. And that’s not going to change.

A solid program? Come on! Even Techies don’t believe that. Paul Johnson’s high school triple option brought them a few wins because it was hard to prepare for. But eventually most teams figured out how to beat it. It was “Bye bye Paul” soon after UGA literally tore them apart.
Then they hire Collins, a gimmick obsessed moron, who won 3 games a year for 3 years. At least he brought a lot of laughs with his go go dancing juice squad, weight lifting on the sidelines, cute little hoodie man vest and skinny jeans outfit, Waffle House Wednesdays, ATL and 404 rip offs, water slides and snack nights, etc. It was a hoot!
And now on to Key. He might be a better coach but a former Tech AD made the comment that there was no way that GT could be a consistent winner or compete at the highest levels as he was heading out the door for greener pastures. GT got pretty angry at him for letting the cat out of the bag.
They all know it’s true but like to pretend that they are elite. Just like their former coach said when he claimed GT was elite and there was no difference between them and Alabama. Even my Tech brother-in-law got a huge laugh out of that.

Love how the Georgia fans in here fight this. Like it’s ok to admit your schedule sucks and it’s lame to not really have any big time games to look forward to until October.
