I wasn't talking about Kentucky. I heard all the stuff that was going on today around that area yesterday. I was mainly talking about the Alabama/Auburn fans.

Regular sports mecca of the entire fricking ohio river valley, no doubt

Your baseball team is ranked in the top 3 and you would rather go to a spring football game for your mediocre football team?

Not caring isn't really a big deal. But also, please "dont care" when your team starts winning.
Bama baseball has won big and lost big throughout my lifetime and at no point have I cared. The gymnastics team is likely to repeat as national champions in a few days. Also don't care. Bama softball is consistently a top 5 national program. Don't care.

I've been to plenty of games at the box in questionable weather where the lsu fans didn't show up either.

The Spring game isn't until tonight. The crowds are at Keeneland and Thunder Over Louisville (Kentucky Derby Festival Kickoff).
Like I said earlier, horse racing is pretty popular in Kentucky.

I would go to Spring Game or the races over a reg season baseball game. Especially since I could've seen them night before or day after.

Good God Kentucky is pathetic
What is even more pathetic is this sudden downpour of LSU fans clinging their souls to a third tier sport to forget painful memories in sports that matter. Like Basketball (where Kentucky is the defending national champ) and Football (where you are well aware of the national champ).

What room do LSU fans have to pick on Kentucky's crowd?
Yall didn't show up the the sec basketball tournament.

Honestly, I just saw a crowd shot on TV and it looks pretty packed to me. OP is just a hater.

You cereal? There's countless basketball threads on the rant about the excitement of next season with the hire of a new coach, and countless threads on football when we have a great chance to win it all. Not much you can do when those sports aren't in their respective seasons.

Announcer just said the crowd is almost a sell out and last night was a sell out. Great thread OP! Keep up the good work!

That's why I'm not even tripping. It's not like you can expect every game to bring in thousands. The weather looks like it sucks anyway.

So in other words we pack what we have until we build a bigger and better stadium today despite the other events/weather and we're shitty.
Right.
Right.

One or the problems with attendance is the fact that people buy baseball season tickets for K-Fund points and then never show up, so reserved seats stay empty. Baseball season tickets are only ~$30.

Yes I am, we whooped'em last time we faced them--it was hella fun.

I'm here to eat my crow, I didn't account for your thousands of invisible fans. I'm sure they're there.

Why do I keep seeing this argument? Your baseball team is top3 in the nation. Our basketball team never sniffed the top 25. I guarantee if our basketball team was top 3, we'd have a packed house if the number one team came into town...this is a very good Kentucky baseball team...and they deserve support from wildcat nation.
