Golding messed up with the timeouts

Clock was running. Miami only had two left. And they would’ve had to save one for a field goal attempt. And we’ve seen Cristobal have time management issues before. Ole Miss using their TO’s allowed Miami to regroup and be able to run the football

Golding was betting on them kicking that FG and wanted time to go back and kick a FG to win it. He bet wrong.

There was never going to be much time left. Not enough to do anything with anyway.

I don’t think that was a bad move. He wanted to preserve as much clock as possible.

Your take is objectively wrong. Time was of no issue for Miami. Golding gave his team a chance.

Those timeouts gave Miami a chance to settle down and score a touchdown. They would have settled for a FG without them.

They didn't need to settle down, they were never in a rush

Yeah. We've all seen fricked up time management and this wasn't one of them.

I disagree. Miami could run the ball all night and also had timeouts.
The timeouts actually gave OM a chance to score with time left.

I don't know about that. Ole Miss went 40 yards in 2 plays, using a few seconds. And had a legitimate shot at a game ending TD to win.
That extra time would have been like gold IMO.
