What have been y'all's experiences going to SEC games when your team wasn't playing? I've been thinking about going to USCe vs. Mizzou.

Just don't wear your school colors like a loser. Go enjoy a game and the blessing that is college football.

it's like watching any other game you dont care about the outcome. Just take it in as any wknd vacation. Don't think it's anything totally different unless you are the tool bag painted in your own teams colors asking for attention.
I prefer to stay neutral myself.
I see why you are choosing that game, but I'm sure a game at mizzou isnt really going to represent the SEC experience like other major schools in the sec.

I go to a lot of the sec championships and Chick-fil-A games. Never had a problem. When you have no skin in the game, it definetly isn't as exciting.

You should come to a Mizzou basketball game. The atmosphere is crazy when Kim Anderson isn't the head coach.

I've been to 4; 2 iron bowls, 1 TSIO, and the 05 uf/bama game. For the iron bowls and tsio I just wore a plain polo shirt, for the uf/bama game I wore a uga shirt which was my way of being in solidarity with the bama fans I was sitting with.
The thing is, jsut don't be a dipshit. Remember you're not at your teams' game, it's like you're in someone else's house. Be polite and be respectful.

Neutral colors are officially Garnet and Black. Wear those.

Exactly. So you can only hope for a really good exciting game. Which mizz vs uscjr is about even, so should be a good game at least.
Took a quick look at msus schedule to see if they played either, and they dont. I'd root for the team we played to make our sos better. At this point, the week of the game I try to figure out which outcome can benefit my team, and root for the team that gives me that.
Only thing that trumps all that work is if I meet a cutie while there that I have to call an audible on last minute to seal the deal. Ha.

Been to Florida/UGA four times. It's awesome. You can relax and get drunk and not worry about a thing. Plus it's usually Halloween too.

Went to LSU/Clemson Peach Bowl back in the 90's. It was ok. Got drunk. Huge corn dog vs tater brawl outside the stadium after the game.

Taters are gaping, gigantic pussies. Pretty sure they got their asses handed to them in that fight by the LSU fans.

Been to Auburn @ LSU and a few games @ Ole Miss.
Had a great time at both, with no worries about your own team taking a loss.

Go enjoy that shite. Like others have said, don't wear your colors like that idiot Marlins guy.

That should be a heck of a game and could set the course of the season for both teams.
Post to the Mizzou board for recommendations for eats and libations before and after.

Tiger Sadium is close enough for me to go occasionally if I'm given tickets or can get them cheap. I've always had fun. But I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much at most other places.

I was stationed at ft.sill. I decided to see what a Big 12 football atmosphere was like. I went to Norman and watch Oklahoma vs WVU. That stadium was 85000 and DWS was louder with 61000. I will give them credit for one thing. Nothing beats a college girl selling beer at a vendor with a bikini on. Nobody does football better than the SEC. So, sit back and enjoy your neutral sec football.

Norman was ok I agree. They try though. Ha. I am unhappy we inked another home and home with them as I prefer to experieince something different. Their stadium though is super open with huge gaps letting the sound out. Like the endzone is more large bleacher style, so gaps from ground up.
Like the seahawks stadium is a bowl enough to make it super to make it loud with what 50k-ish??

Do you stay on your knees slobbing on good SEC teams knobs in hopes that they will say something good about you? Cause it really looks like that, it looks super desperate
