I stand by my decision. It's like you throw big words in to try and sound smart, and they just don't fit smoothly.

But at least I learned how to efficiently navigate a thesaurus!

What's the outfield seating situation at Blue Bell?
There is a railroad track directly behind center and right field. Fans would stand on the tracks and watch the game and wouldn't move when a train came by (about three or four per game).
Railroad got mad and fenced the area off and police patrol it now.
BTW everyone in our new conference seems ready to at least tolerate us....what is the deal with Arkansas?
If Mother Teresa ever mentioned a fairly nice comment about Texas A&M, some hillbilly from the hills would immediately hop on it and dis the Aggies and then say, "yeah, but she likes us better.
Lighten up pigs. Your plastic hats must be on too tight.

*I am by no means saying Blue Bell is the best, just the nicest. Add 1500-2000 more seats, loosen the alcohol laws and then some other stadiums have some catching up to do (both of these things will eventually happen)
I think the Diamond Club has to be on of the nicest, but again, I don't know what others have, and haven't personally been to it yet, either.

The truth is there is some damn nice parks in the SEC. Trying to subjectively argue which is the best is pointless.
All the ones argued are very nice and each have their strong points. Olsen is a great place to experience a baseball game, with the atmosphere being the best part.

Couldn't agree more.
I'm blown away by many of the SEC parks (all have strengths & weaknesses).
Silly thread.

Someone claiming A&M is the best in anything is never silly.

Well Ole Miss' club def isnt that nice. That shite is very very nice.
IMO Ole Miss' is the best "college atmosphere" stadium in the SEC but not the nicest as far as luxurious bell and whistles. Dont get me wrong, the club level is nice, our concourse is sharp, all chairbacks ( with cupholders
I feel what sets us apart is our outfield seating and the entire setting

But we could use more boxes luxury boxes for sure.

I mean, anything that is brand new is most likely going to be the "nicest", so the Diamond Club is definitely second to none I would assume until someone does a massive renovation in 10 years to some other park.
As far as "college atmosphere", Blue Bell seems a bit more catered to the mid-30s Aggie than the current student. We have a playground where you would likely have seating.

You will see a LOT of young children at any given baseball game.

Beautiful ballpark Ole Miss. Can you post some pictures of the facade?

So no drinking then?
I can't imagine going to Swayze and not being able to get trashed while I'm watching the game. I would support either way, but it seriously makes it exponentially more fun.
eta: I wonder how drastically that affects fan support and attendance at other schools. I know tons of chicks and others that just show up for the party, and don't really care what's happening on the field.
I honestly don't really care why they're there, the more the merrier.

This is it exactly. State did this with the lounges for 20 years until LT got the bright idea to put a fence around it, charge admission, and make it infinitely more difficult to drink in there(we must take alcohol in advance now). Hoping Strick modifies this approach SOON to make it how it used to be(similar to OM). Get rid of the "baseball purism" in the outfield and bring on the party...
Ole Miss has a great thing going. Hope they never get the bright idea to change it or try to make money on it. That gives you the atmosphere, and the $$ folks come to be a part of that atmosphere.

What makes it the nicest?
Baum wrote the book on nice college baseball stadiums. We have suites out the ying yang. Amenities galore. Only to get nicer in the next 3 years with another expansion.
Hell Baum looks better than AA Springfield(Hammons Field) and AA Northwest Arkansas'(Arvest ballpark). And both those AA teams have new stadiums.

I graduated from LSU, but live in College Station so I go to a lot of their baseball games. Blue Bell is nice but its not SEC size. They lost seats when they did the renovation. I went to to all the regional games and when the stadium was full with the lawns full with standing room it had 5,500 people.
