My boy is having a hard time deciding which of these to go to next year. We are doing overnight visits in January. Thinking I’ll just tell him him we will save that money and he has to go with whoever wins today.

Tell him to be smart and go to the Merchant Marine academy. The officers they put out are far beyond the swill the Navy or Army Skool houses do.

Both great schools but Navy is the choice. Annapolis is an amazing city and only Navy trains real pilots to land on ships at sea.

Mitchie is a hell of a place to watch a game but Annapolis is a career maker.

He has had been a hard lean toward Annapolis, but he already has the LOA from Army and that’s got him looking harder. BGO says Navy always takes longer, but that he is pretty much a lock. Also says they have lost other candidates for this same reason (slow response).

He won’t make a decision until after the visits, which I still expect to favor Navy. We like the new Cyber building and program there, and his CyberPatriots team is #5 out of ~3,300.

my brother just retired from the Navy 2 years ago, so your comment made me laugh as he said almost the exact same thing when the streak ended and my Dad and I called him to finally get to talk shite

The most fun I ever had during the Army-Navy game was pulling for Army in front of 2 Annapolis Grads, who had played for Navy, when we were on a Med Cruise in 1984
