South Carolina throttled Texas A&M and A&M beats LSU, except LSU beat South Carolina. South Carolina would then throttle Vanderbilt and Vanderbilt would beat Bama, except Bama would throttle LSU right after that same Vanderbilt beat Bama.
With me so far? It gets better
Texas A&M would beat LSU, LSU would beat Ole Miss, and Ole Miss would throttle Georgia, but lose to Kentucky. Georgia would beat Texas and Tennessee while Kentucky would lose to literally every other SEC team they played, except Ole Miss.
Bama would beat Georgia and LSU, but would lose to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, both of which LSU beat. LSU would lose to Florida. Florida would beat Ole Miss, but lose to Georgia who Ole Miss beat.
Tennessee would beat Bama, but lose to Arkansas. Arkansas lost to A&M, but they beat Auburn, except Auburn would beat A&M. Auburn would not beat Vanderbilt, and Vanderbilt could not beat Missouri. Missouri would lose to A&M, but would beat Auburn who, again, beat A&M.
Oklahoma would lose to LSU, but beat Bama, except Bama would beat LSU and Auburn, while Auburn would lose to Oklahoma. Oklahoma would beat Missouri and Missouri would beat Auburn, but remember Missouri would get throttled by A&M who, once again, lost to Auburn.
Well, when you say it like that, it almost makes sense!

quote:He also left out the part where SMU is still a G5 team that has the good fortune of joining the ACC when the conference is on its last legs. If you had joined just 3-4 years earlier you wouldn't be on here talking smack about anything.
You left out the part where Texas still has a Big12 schedule & stays top 5 all season.
I pray to baby Jebus ya'll somehow luck out long enough to face us head to head. It will be merciless slaughter.

If karma mattered in this world, alabama would be a bottom dweller for the next 50 years.
Karma is the reason both Tennessee and your own dick hasn't properly functioned since before Ryan Williams was even born.
So it does exist.

It’s almost as if these games are decided by match ups in individual position groups and having at large bids was a terrible idea.
But this is why they did it, the talking about rankings and the at-large bids, that’s what’s generating the extra content and the buzz. They want people watching college football coverage beyond the games.
Eliminating all but four SEC and BIG10 programs before the playoff takes away a ton of eyes, they’ll never do it, even if it is the best/fairest way to determine a champion.
