I think it is plainly obvious Murray was targeting #92's backside and was setting up a huge blindside hit on him.

Good morning guys. I have read the entire thread and it has been interesting to say the least.
Was it a cheap shot? Yes
Was it dirty? Yes
Was it technically a legal block? Yes
Guys, what is any different about this block than on punt returns, when a player on the return team, turns back on a defender chasing the play and lays out the guy chasing the play? You love it when the guy doing the laying out is on your team, I know I do.
After the pic, Murry became just another defender chasing the play and not being aware of his surroundings, one of our players laid him out.
Great game Dawgs, will be pulling for you in your bowl game.

Its quite amusing to watch the Bama crowd defend a dirty play by their guy, then criticize players from other teams for the exact same thing. Its also telling that they associate their homoerotic fantasies with sports by using the word butthurt all the time.

As much as I've come to hate Bama in the past few years, you couldn't call them a dirty team and their players didn't make dirty plays...until last night.

I see a shoulder going into a chest. His helmet might have brushed Murrays facemask but 95% of that contact was shoulder to chest.

He clearly made material H2H contact, even if he did lead with the shoulder. I don't have a rule book in front of me, but I thought it warranted a flag.
