I think a lot of that is Arky took the three away from Bama, forcing them to go to the rim more. That's with only playing 7 players led to so many Arky players fouling out. I think the officiating was awful on both sides tho.

2 hands on a player is an auto call.. grabbing players is a foul.. the strategy of keep fouling they can't call everything doesn't work on the road like it does when you're at home.. that's why teams shoot such a high percentage against y'all at home. Maybe the reason Arkansas lost is because they allowed Bama to shoot 56% for the game and outrebound then by 7. Those numbers usually lead to defeat. Arkansas wouldn't have even been in the game if they had not hit 50% of their 3 point shots.
Bama had 34 FT to 19, but of course if you take the rock to the rim in a home game you are going to get a few more calls, never fails. Bama only shot 29 threes in a 2 OT game. They average 36 per game, so with an extra 10 minutes they cut way back, that was a strategy because Arkansas was in foul trouble and they do not have the depth Bama does.

Arkansas should have had more fouls called against them than they did. Arkansas’ basketball team tackles harder than their football team.

The one thing we can all agree on is that Shows wants to be the center of attention and “control” the game. I used to think he only hated Kentucky, now I know he is just a self centered, egotistical hack.

You haven’t paid attention. Arkansas fans always get cheated by officials in every sport every game. They can go 0 for a season in football and blame every loss on officiating. Been that way since they joined the SEC. The league is out to get them. The absolute worst.
