The highlight of Travon Walker’s career at UGA:

All I saw was your guy about to get pancaked by a 6'6", 340lb sophomore DT.

While the concerns about Walker’s production are a bit unfounded imo, I think 1st overall is a bit much. Top 15 all day, but I’m not sure how much better he makes the worst team in the league day 1, which I think you need in the first overall pick.

I’d take one of the OTs if it were me. I’m very skeptical of Hutchinson.

I see the #1 angle because there is no QB at 1 and Walker literally can do everything.

He is covering running backs on wheel routes.
He is dropping into zone and getting a hand on passes when the QB reads ILB A Gap blitz but mis-counts the pass rush.

He is playing 0 tech on passing downs and looping around the RT and hitting the QB on a 5 step drop.

He is in the 7 tech and stunting inside and taking 2 blockers with him as the 3 tech loops around the right tackle and gets the sack untouched.

He is at the nose pushing the pocket 3 yards deep with maximum effort and then turning and running down a sub 4.4 wide receiver who has blockers on a screen down the sideline.

People ask where was he in 2021?
Then they see the highlights and realize all that he was asked to do.
They realize that he isnt just a pass rushing end.

He is the type of defensive lineman that will allow a team to play cover 2 and defeat nfl spread offenses in victory at the superbowl.
