Georgia defensive end Travon Walker has gone from long shot to the consensus odds-on favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft at sportsbooks around the nation.

Mostly bc Aiden Hutchison is way overrated and Kayvon is lazy and dumb.

Not even gonna lie, when I saw him at 3 in the last mock draft I didn’t even know who he was.

I’ll never understand how Jamaree Salyer demolished Aidan Hutchinson in the Orange Bowl and has garnered next to no buzz. Dude is going to play 10 years in the league at any position you need him to on the line

The highlight of Travon Walker’s career at UGA:

Salyer's NFL future is at guard, and most teams are willing to wait to find guards later in the draft unless you're dealing with a freak like Quentin Nelson. Salyer is going to be a good guard in the NFL for a long time.

Travon Walker chasing down Hall in the national title game and saving a touchdown is one of the most incredible plays you'll ever see from a DL.

It's also hilarious that LSu fans (he isn't the only one, I've seen others) post that clip as some kind of "haha gotcha!" about Travon and Jordan davis without realizing that maybe, juuuuuuust maybe, guys may be different players over hte course of 3 seasons. I mean I know it's a crazy thought that Travon as a junior may be different than travon as a true freshman but maybe that's just me!

He was the D-Lineman who made your WR look like a slow arse bitch because he ran cross field to drag his arse down from behind.

Me either. I don’t think he was recognized by the media like Jordan Davis or Nakobe Dean. No all SEC team for him. I’m assuming he was extremely underrated.

he’s not as polished as Wyatt, Davis, or Dean but his physicals and combine performance put him up there with any DL in history.

Saw something posted on twitter that his combine performance in 40 yard dash, broad jump, cone shuttle, etc. would’ve been in the 60th percentile of CBs.

ETA: Here is how he would rank if he was a CB

Jags should select an OT or try to trade back.

He was asked to play all over the D line and olb at UGA.

He is FREAK athletically, 6'5, 275 lb., Ran a laser time 4.5 flat 40 at the combine, with like a 36 inch vert, incredible long jump and shuttle.

He did the D Line AND LB drills VERY well at the combine.

And he is a really good young man and intelligent to boot.

My biggest takeaway from that gif is that #77 had to hold onto a DB for dear life to not get his arse whooped

No name defense.

It is why our defense will still be great in 2022.

I just dont get this one. I get his combine numbers were eye popping but he never seemed to stand out much at UGA among a really talented set of DL front guys like Wyatt Carter and Davis, all of which actually had significantly higher PFF grades than Walker this past season.
