Upvote for having balls. These stuff shirt SEC types take their shite way too seriously. You all handled them with ease and they still don’t get it. At the time of the game, they were going to beat that arse into oblivion. Then it’s “oh we didn’t have a great team”, or “injuries”, or “refs sucked”.
"Didn't wanna be there."

They will. Just in time for Georgia. You'll undoubtedly be surprised and caught off guard after feasting on those ESPN SEC talking points, like you guys always are......again.

How will Oklahoma stop UGA's running game?
Posted on 12/4/17 at 4:30 pm to GaryGator
They won't. Chubb, Michel and Swift are going to go for atleast 350 combined

Let ‘em score if they are inside the five. Save the wear and tear for later in the game. I’ve seen a lot of Big 12 games and you could tell that is the mindset. Let them score so we can get the ball and score on them, hope to create a turnover or a punt at some point and take our chances.

If GA can control the clock and shorten the game through the success of its running game, the dawgs can win it. If Mayfield has time to pass and is on the field a lot, OK wins easily.

Actually, he blamed their inexplicable loss to Iowa State on injuries... so there’s that...

He's a DC straight out of the 90s and pro-style offenses are more in his wheel-house and comfort level. He will have an effective gameplan for Georgia.
Strong gameplan wont cut it, if you don't have the personnel capable of taking on double teams and iso blocks. Something that is hard to teach in 3 weeks, or simulate in practice.
Even your own Barry Switzer was quoted as saying he would be extremely concerned with this current OU D going against a power running team.

If Fromm doesn't get the "deer in the headlights", uga will win.

I'll tell you the same thing I told BowlJackson last year when he was running his cakehole about how they were going to run all over us with Pettway.
Chubb can run his arse off and have a career day at the office for 250yds and 2 TDs and it won't be enough.

You have terrible, antiquated offenses in your league.
What's been the success rate of these "antiquated offenses" vs the big 12 offenses in the BCS and CFB playoffs?

Well you SEC fans love to brag about how competitive and tough your league is do you not? If your flagship program finds itself down 6 starters in a game against a middle of the pack team in your league, that middle of the pack team should be able to win that game if your league is truly competitive as you say it is. That's what a competitive league really looks like right?
Meanwhile, Bama skated through your league with a MASH unit on defense and a smoke show of an offense all year long and it didn't catch up to them until they played their rival Auburn, and they still made the playoffs. Even when Saban has one of his "less than stellar teams" none of you can do anything about it.
And isn't that what Bob Stoops was talking about? Yes......yes it is.

Don't think we had many games with the SEC in the BCS aside from us with FL and LSU which were natty games, and certainly not in the "playoffs".

Game will be a snoozer, OU big.

FWIW, the only person I see running their cakehole and acting like the message board douche equivalent of Baker Mayfield is you. Anyone who's looking at it realistically can say that it's going to be a great matchup... Mayfield and the OU offense will likely be a handful. If we stifle them early (after the long break, this is not unrealistic)... it could become an issue of total # of possessions remaining for you guys. Either way, you're going to have to stop the run better than you have all season.

Just talking about the success rate of the offenses in
BCS and CFB playoffs in general not against each other

Well it sure as heck wasn't anybody from the BIG 12, that's for sure. The SEC has won 8 since the BIG 12's last one. But that doesn't count, because it wasn't Oklahoma, it was Texas. Everybody knows the BIG 12 follows the Texas lead. They run the BIG 12 and Oklahoma is just a visitor. I'm surprised you didn't have to ask permission from the Texas AD to come on our board.
