If you were around in 1981, 1982 you knew this was the attitude Hairy Dawg would have after last year.

I seem to recall an Arkansas team rolling into Athens last year with heads as big as the Goodyear blimp. It’s had been decades since they were on anyones radar and now they were ranked. And what happened to that team? Something like a 38-0 thermonuclear blast up the side of that inflated head. If I were Ark I’d worry more about my team getting another balloon head than worrying about superior programs

And look at AU. So far down they can’t see up.

This Georgia beat down of the Tide really rattled them. The whining and excuse making is off the charts. It started 5 minutes after the NC game - the confetti was still falling- with Saban standing outside the Bama dressing room whining about injuries. He spit out the talking points and Bama fans are still spewing then months later. What a bunch of pathetic losers! Take your loss like men and move on. From the look of your team this season y’all have more important things to worry about

And it took Alabama having both starting WR out for UGA to do it last year.

I'm equally amazed that Stetson Bennett ( a former walkon) also won the national championship without Metchie and Williams. I mean... if the Heisman winner can't do it, who the frick does Stetson think he is?

Stetson is the QB who showed up Bamas lso called Heisman guy. Stetson is the QB who refused to lose.

There will be a rematch this year and y’all can settle it. Probably 2 rematches again.

And what a comeback that was! FYI the game was close - back and forth until Georgia started whooping Bamas arse

What was the SEC Championship game then?
Bama at a +2 on the year vs Gawja.

Georgia won a natty and they are still triggered about the year.

Where has anyone told anybody else to do that.....and if you find one, what was it in response to? Context matters.

In this thread. Agreed, context matters.

The defending national champions use wins vs Ohio State's opponents as their measuring stick of success.

I think it was a comparative to what UGA would do to Ohio State.

But whatever

Cincinnati should never have been in the playoffs and only made it because the other power 5 teams beat up on each other.

I cannot wait until the B1G and SEC separate and we no longer put up with these G5 schools.
