You pointed what out? Apparently you are right. I am confused what the heck you are talking about. This is a response thread, is it not? I don't know why any LSU fan would respond to his thread anyway. Just say, "1980" and move along.

Hey....I actually have no problem with response threads. but sometimes it is the only thing a guy can pull out and argue to save face.
I've never understood the need for fans to try to make other fans feel bad about their team. (Saying this with full realization that it was a Georgia fan that started the fuss in the other thread.) I guess it would get boring if we all sat around and sang Kumbahyah and hugged it out, though.

Actually (and trying to get a little football discussion started here) I think if Tennessee can shore up the QB spot you guys could be in for a big year. Your OLine and LBs look very good. Pruitt is a whiz at identifying players in the secondary. The QB spot could be the weakness for UT, although I really like Maurer when he played against us last year.

I agree. I like Georgias fans/ schooljust some of the posters have been targeting LSU. Same with LSU posters. I was just trying to defend my team. As you would do, I believe as well.

They hate us because we are everything they are not. We share a number of similarities-sole sports power in a talent rich state coming into the 2000s had similar accomplishments good but relatively underachieving based on potential. The difference is we realized it and took it to the next level many times as you noted at their expense.
Meanwhile the nerd school In their state has more athletic accomplishments in the last 30 years. I mean can you imagine if Tulane had won a Nc and been to final fours more recently than us? Embarrassing

Georgia is the team this year. They are loaded at every aspect of the ball. Even if every team played this year I don't see anyone beating Georgia outside of clemson
