Except for bama and florida you're right I guess. Oh and if you listen to LSU fans they'll tell you they have more potential as well.

Y'all are the only major player in your state (which is loaded with talent) though.

I can only remember him beating one superior AU team during that run. UGA should be a top 5 in recruiting every year, just by recruiting the state of GA. They should be a top 5 program every years, based on recruiting and facilities. The only other in-state school is GT, which has their own limits. When UGA wins a big game, you never think Richt just outcoached the other side. It is usually because of the talent differential

There are so, so many things wrong with this that I don't even want to waste the time correcting it all.

Just know that you are wrong and everyone else (other aubies aside) can see it.

It sucked that y'all beat them in 06. That would've been an epic SECCG.

UGA should be able to hand pick the in-state talent.

If you think this is the case, you're too dumb to converse with. You're ignorant to recruiting in the state.

Nah it's pretty legitimate. Both student body and fan base are edging closer to that of a Big 10 school every year. Need something to hold it together, like TAMU has.

That applies to y'all as well. Georgia Tech isn't a major player.

Yea and Auburn, Clemson, and FSU are all within an hour of the Georgia border so they might as well be considered in-state schools.

ah frick it. I know you're trolling but this ignorance will not stand man.

In 02 AU was very good and would have won the west if it weren't for losing to Richt at home. 06 yall were national title contenders before losing at home to a Richt team that had already lost 4 games. In 07 yall were a solid team that was a UGA loss away from going 9-3 and playing on NYD.

Richt has beaten AU 8 times. By you saying "well yall never beat AU when we were good", you're basically saying that yall have sucked the majority of Richt's tenure.

So on a yearly basis, who out of

alabama
USC
texas
oklahoma
florida
lsu
ohio state
florida state

should we instantly recruit better than? Not sure if you've noticed but there are a lot of blue blood programs that recruit very well on a yearly basis.

just by recruiting the state of GA

We have more stud prospects in GA every year than every other state besides FL, TX, and CA. It is literally impossible to get them all.

Dumbest fricking argument you've made yet. You know there's not a rule that you can only recruit against your other in state schools right?

Clemson is a 90 minute drive from Athens. SC is less than 3 hours. AU is less than 3 hours. Bama is about 4. UT isn't far from the border, and Tallahassee is just across the state line. The amount of major, major football schools within an hour plane ride from campus makes the whole "you only have gt" argument even less than irrelevant.

And whether you admit it or not, over the last 13 years we have actually done very well in GA.

YOU don't think that? Because I can probably find you several games every year that was won due to coaching alone.

Since when is beating a 4-8 team considered a big game?

What's your point? That tard's assertation was that no game we ever win is due to coaching. I disagreed. Last year we won the florida game due to coaching.

It's not hard man, keep up.

How often does UGA go into Alabama and get a Top 10 Recruit ?
