They could easily have won this year's CFP. This was a really tough year to get in, though.

True, but Georgia might still be the best team. Almost any other year Georgia would have made the CFP.

Georgia had a few games this year that didn't look great, but pound for pound they are top 4...it's a shame this happened on the final 4 team playoff year.

The committee backed themselves into a corner. They made such a big deal about Texas beating Bama, that they couldn't ignore Bama beating Georgia.
Also, let not pretend that beating the shite out of a team missing 21 players, including the 1st and 2nd string QBs, is evidence of anything.
