What's funny is most people universally agreed Kirby would be a recruiting juggernaut at Georgia. Even people who were not sure about the hire had to begrudgingly admit he would probably be an animal on the recruiting trail. So, it's kind of strange to me that so many people are shocked and triggered by this.

I think it is a backlash to all the new Georgia posters that decided to start off by trolling. Understandable, really. Hopefully they (our new posters)learn. A lot of fan bases have new poster that have done the same, but they have assimilated (for lack of a better word) As a whole we've always pretty much kept to ourselves and people aren't used to what is going on from us.

The problem is so did everyone else. It wasn't just unique to Georgia.

Was having this exact conversation with a good friend of mine who is a UGA fan.
You take a guy who is the best recruiter in the country not named Nick Saban, and you put him at a school in a state that ranks in the Top 3 in the country in talent production (40 players ranked 4* and higher in 2018), and with zero in-state competition, and people are trying to act surprised that he’s raking in the talent?
Give me a break. Anyone who didn’t see this coming is certifiable.
Here is a thread I started back in January of 2017, warning of the incoming talent gap that would be created in the East. 13 pages of “NUH UH!!”

Yeah if you've been a Georgia / Atlanta fan for more than 5 years, youre pretty accustomed to some sports heartbreak. It's disappointing to get so close, but last season was the best and most fun one I've ever experienced, and the future looks bright right now. It's frickin football. It's a hobby and it's supposed to be fun. Chill out.

Just conveniently leave out how the teams we played in the West were the top 3/4 teams. We two of them by 20+, lost one by 20+, and lost one in OT.

This has been beat to death on here and discussed ad nauseam. The East had an atrocious record against the West this past season. Furthermore, the Western teams more often than not blew out their Eastern opponents. Do we really need a game by game breakdown?

You said everyone beat the crap out of all east teams exactly like uga did. You need to prove that. Prove that lsu and anm beat the crap out of uf. If you can't, your whole story gets destroyed yet again.
