Republicans fear Florida is a warning sign to come across the map.

Senior Republicans think they're close to hitting a point where the House will be out of reach, with key losses in the Sunshine State piling up. The only question now is how many seats they lose the majority by at this point.

Democrat Roy Cooper already flipped North Carolina’s Senate seat. And Republicans are bracing for a nightmare scenario where Cooper’s victory leaves a slew of once safely red House seats — including that of NRCC Chair Richard Hudson — in vulnerable spots.
