I made the trip last year, and highly encourage everyone to scratch Athens off their football stadium bucket list. Fans were cordial, at least for the first half while I was there lol.

Its a damn shame we don't play more often.

The big drawback of our current league setup is the big gap in playing non rival teams from the other division.

I’ll be there. GF is an LSU grad and it’s only 6 hours from Dallas so we’ll drive to NOLA on Thursday and then to Baton Rouge on Friday. Pretty excited as I haven’t been to either in years and this will be my first game day at LSU.

We're gonna spend all day Thursday and half day friday in New Orleans, then head to an Air BNB in Baton Rouge for Friday/Saturday night.

I'm down to meet up with anyone in NO for some beers.

thoughts on this game?

Should be a good one considering its in Tiger Stadium.

Pics of some games throughout the years:

I am bringing my wife and father down for the game. It will be our first time in BR. IMO, it is our most difficult game right now. That could change if LSU gets off to a slow start, loses confidence and CEO's seat gets hot. I think both teams are pretty close in all phases except offense, where UGA has a big advantage. The equalizer could very well be Death Valley's atmosphere.

Go Dawgs!

I’ll be there. It’s been over 4 years since I’ve been in Baton Rouge and I can’t wait.

GOAT Tiger Stadium environment IMO.

Richt said something like it was the greatest sporting environment he had ever been a part of.

that game is legendary.

I was planning to go... but I got hit by the October Wedding virus by an immediate family member.

-This is probably a good thing though.... UGA is 1-4 in away games I've traveled to.

I went in 2008 and had a ball. Definitely going back this year. Love any excuse to get to NOLA.

Plan to be there. Went in 2008, never made it into the stadium.
