Georgia is just hanging on for dear life.

Alabama is trying to reestablish.

Ole Miss is having a freak year and will be back to normal next year.

Tennessee has got something new going on, and they are climbing fast.

Texas is also rising fast, about a year ahead of Tenner.

Texas and Tenner look to be the cream of the crop starting next year.

Since you’re new to the sec it seems new to you but we’ve heard similar bs the last three years so you’ll have to excuse us if we stay in a “I’ll believe it when I see it” mode

If you want to play this game, Georgia is 2 WR leg injuries away from 0 national championships since 1980

Tennessee was good in 2022, most legit fans knew last year wasn't going to be any world beater team with Milton at QB, and now we are optimistic this year with a promising QB and a lot of vets. Sue us

I didn’t say anything about not being optimistic for your team. You should be. The rest of us have seen you guys get pumped up and then falter later in the season. We’ll believe you’re elite when it happens

In a competitive game it’s possible, in a shootout it’s very likely. In that game with Clemson? Not a chance in hell. Clemson is a garbage ACC team that UGA treats like a kissing cousin.

Taking the UGA game out, Clemson would be leading the nation in scoring offense at 62.5 points per game. And those other two games was against a schedule better than Ole Miss has played.

UGA holding them to 3 points is more about UGA's defense than Clemson's offense. Clemson is still 15th in points scored even with that game being 1/3rd of their schedule.

Your view of Clemson has been distorted by how UGA shut them down. They scored 59 against NC State in just 3 quarters. 45 in the first half. Compare that to Tennessee scoring 20 in the first half and 37 through 3 quarters.

Clemson's offense is pretty good. UGA's defense was just better.

Okay, using Bama's excuses to "explain away" UGA's 2021 national title is pathetic... but I guess I can understand UT fans acting in a pathetic manner.

But how exactly would UGA's 2022 national title go away? You know, when we played LSU for the SECCG and beat TCU 65-7 in the national championship game?

"Starting Next Year," or at the start of the 2025 season?

It takes depth to be "cream of the crop" in the SEC. Tennessee is not a deep team, so I will assume that you are buying into the current smoke and mirrors hype.

Taking the OU game out and UT is at 70 points per game. Are you sure this is the route you want to take?

I would credit 1st game against their cousins and playing tight as an equal factor. But carry on.

Pretty sure it goes back to their coach being a dinosaur and them being garbage for a while now. But continue.

Clemson's offense is pretty good
I believe your opinion of Clemson is distorted by how they preformed against UGA.

I don't really think so.

When they played UGA I thought their offense was garbage.

After I saw the score in the App State game I thought that maybe their offense was okay.

After they did better against NC State than Tennessee did, I've switched to thinking their offense is pretty good.

It's kind of the same path I had with Oregon a couple of years ago. UGA held them to 3 points in the first week, but then Oregon went on to prove they were a great offense over the rest of the season and I came to realize that their offense was quite good, UGA just had an elite defense that performed at the top of their game that day.

I'm buying into the culture that Heupel has built into his program, and although Tenner is not deep (yet), they field solid SEC talent in all 22 positions.

They played 1-1/2 quarters against 0U and then shut down for the remainder. Heupel didn't want to embarrass his old school. That's called control.

Tenner may not beat UGA this year, but their up-trend vs. UGA stagnation will be evident.

It’s weird that you want to discredit Clemson’s offense when the destroyed NCST same as UT. How can your offense be legit and theirs garbage when you have a common opponent?

It’s only stagnation because UGA has already been at or near the top of the sport for several years.

How do you have an up trend when you’re UGA? Win three in a row?

UGA has lost exactly 1 game since the start of the 2022 season (when they were already defending national champions), is 3-0 with a 31 point wipeout of a ranked opponent at a neutral site, signed the number 1 recruiting class in 2024, and is somehow trending down.

Georgia's recruiting classes have been stellar.

Kirby completely understands complacency, so what you refer to as stagnation is really just another way of saying that Georgia will be in the hunt each and every year.

Every year when Saban was at Bama, you felt it. The freight train was rolling down the track once again.

You don't feel that with UGA. Yes, you've won a couple, but there's a chink in the armor. Kirby looks desperate, players are acting up, it all seems stale. Saban would make little changes here and there to keep the Tide rolling.

Bama without Saban will likely issue an "L" to the listless UGA squad this weekend.

Clemson is actually worse than NCST in total D at 108…

Clemson is not good at football and hasn’t been in years.
