Florida is this year’s version of 2019 LSU to a lesser degree. They aren’t quite as good as 2019 LSU, but the drop off will not be quite as severe.

Trask, Pitts, Toney and probably Grimes are gone. Cox, Carter, and Stewart might leave as well. It’s gonna be tough for them to be competitive next year.

This is a pretty terrible take and here's why:

Mullen can coach Quarterbacks. Really well.

Trask is starting to be projected in the first round, he's broken SEC/Florida records (a lot of them) and the cherry on top? He's not even a Mullen style QB. So, Mullen has shown that whatever problem is thrown at him on offense, he will be able to adjust and make the right decision.

Regarding receivers leaving:

You guys said the same thing when it was Cleveland, Hammond, Van Jefferson, Swain et al. You're also clueless because Dan Mullen likes to run and I'm not sure if you saw it or not but our Running Backs murdered ya'll, not our receivers last Saturday.

Davis: 100 yards receiving. 20 yards per reception.

Wright: 71 yards receiving. 23.7 yards per reception.

Pierce averaged 20.5.

On 10 catches they had 212 yards.

quote:

Bu-bu-but one of them has to be leaving, right? RIGHT?

They may all come back next year, plus the addition of Demarckus Bowman and Lorenzo Lingard even if one decides to leave.

Jones is about as good as Stetson.

If that is your answer next year, the game won't be close. UF might not score.

LOL

Jones and Richardson would both start over any of UGAs QBs right now.

Even if made to throw with their opposite hands.

Well, the game for this year has passed so this would be the next logical attempt unless they match us up in a bowl game which won't happen.

As soon as we get a good QB.

Offense will be fine

Exactly what the LSU faithful said. The Trask project was 3
years in the making and Mullen should get due credit for it but Emory Jones isn't making the throws Trask made and we all saw what happened to the offense once Pitts left the game.

Didn't matter. We schemed to stop em and he took up 2 defenders wherever he went.

The offense wasn't close to the same once he left because we didn't need to gameplan around em

We were still moving the ball at will after Pitts went down in the 1st half. The much bigger difference in the 2nd was that our run game was ineffective unlike the 1st.

Our 2 linemen going down seemed to kill our running game.

This where only UG players progress from one year to another. Same old bullshite from a bullshitter.

Right now it’s 16 points and trending in the wrong direction. Will Kirby ever be able to close the gap?
As soon as we get a QB that could make a SEC backup like Jake Fromm. It won't take a great one just any one will do....

We also shut down the offense. Mullen started to bleed the clock in the second half in typical Mullen fashion, ask any Mississippi State fan.

When we needed move the ball in the second half, we did. But having a two touchdown cushion makes it much easier to just run the clock out.

Mullen wants Kirby to coach there for at least another decade, can't hang a 70 burger on him like that.

We need Georgia's talent to dip a little before they hire an actual HC who can get the job done.

You got 28 pts with em in the 1st half and 10 after he left (7 pts were due to a shanked punt)

His presence was huge.

I can promise you that Dan does not want that.

No we had 21 points when he went out and were on the 43. We immediately gained 43 yards without him to score and then moved the ball easily every other drive that half without him.

His presence is huge, but clearly going conservative and not being able to run in the 2nd half was much more significant.

7 points were due to a pick 6

Can we erase both mistakes?

The only people who think Kirby is an A+ coach are literally Georgia fans, and most of them don't even think that.

Mullen is an actual A+ coach who can and will get everything out of his players.

Kirby stumbled his way into an A+ job as a B- coach and has proven it time and time again by his yearly stomping when facing good to elite teams.

Despite having the #1 team on the team talent composite, he has been blown out twice this year. He just ain't no good, baw.

Little difference between a forced and unforced error.Florida did absolutely nothing to make it happen.
