Could it be that LSU wore their asses out and out-physicaled them to the tune of 218 rushing yards? If I recall, DannyBoy Merlin decided to hold Zuniga out for Auburn. Your vaunted Florida defense didn’t record a single sack or QB hurry against us. This brings me to my final point about your first: it’s not like they didn’t have the opportunity to make an impact considering they started the game; LSU’s O-line was rock solid on passing downs blitz or no blitz. Try again.
What about interceptions? Record book will say one, but we all know there should’ve been three. This lacks context as you conveniently failed to mention that Trask, while not a slouch, threw the ball 15 more times than Joe Burrow did. Additionally, Trask’s longest TD pass was a paltry six yarder versus Joe’s 54-yard dime to Ja’Marr Chase. Derp.
