Eye-opening day for Georgia CB Eric Stokes out here at #HOACombine recorded a 4.24 40-yard dash via laser speed and 22.8 top speed. Recorded by Zybek, the company they use for Indy scouting combine.

Just caught up with him after his run:

3rd fastest time in history.

That speed should come in handy after he's been on a route

He seems overlooked in a lot of the mocks.

1st round production (and respect) in college.
1st round speed.
1st round grades from PFF (i know they are useless but still... they are an opinion)

Most recently, ive seen mid 2nd to 3rd round projections.

Overlooked (until now)

Look at all the people downvoting. 4.24 is insane. It’s definitely thread worthy.

They clearly have DDS (Diddly Derangement Syndrome)

I’m not asking this to be a prick, but how accurate are individual teams pro day 40 times compared to the combine 40 times?

This is not Pro day. There’s no NFL combine this year. The HOA combine was set up by Brandon Marshall. A lot of players are there right now. They use the same exact laser tech company as the NFL combine. So yeah, it’s accurate

Accuracy isnt the issue.
Start and stop is the same

The difference is the crew running the event is familiar with Stokes (did he hold still long enough before starting? Did he rock?)
Difference is that stokes slept in his own bed.
Knows the turf.
Friendly confines (less nerves).

The time is the time.
Comparing the experience to pro day in indianopolis is very different and worth noting.

Oh look I found the retard. We turned a guy who was almost a 2-star into a 1st team All-SEC player and a likely 1st round pick now.

It wasn't Georgia that went 5-5.
