-It's got nothing to do with tennessee. Ole miss beat bama back to back in 14/15 but that was merely a footnote to their dynasty, it didn't "break" them or change them in any way
-NIL I think has hurt eveyrone jsut wiht the dumbass way you now have to manage a roster so I can see some merit there. But bama has been the beneciary of plenty of good transfer portal (and by extension I assume NIL) guys. Jahmyr gibbs, jameson williams, kadyn proctor, jermaine burton, to'too off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more. they've definitely benefitted from the new age of cfb
Bama's problem is much more simple than all that. The culture that was established in 07/08 has just eroded away to where it's no the same program and it started while saban was still there. they lost 2 games in 3 consecutive seasons which hadn't been done since pre-saban. They had a lot more discipline issues and just weren't the mega elite team they were earlier. They've now lost two games in 4 consecutive seasons and are about to go 4 years in a row wihtou a title for the first time since 05-08.
