Yep, it's not the X's and the O's; it's the Jimmy's and the Joe's.
We've never had a basketball coach who could adequately recruit our state let alone nationally.

CBB has even more future marketing potential than CFB. Basketball is quite popular globally and future demographics are more favorable (urban, Latino ,etc). Some schools could even reach a global audience theoretically = massive $$ revenue.
